Bree (breesc23) There are so many feels! The best thing about it is that the author doesn't make a big deal out of the m/m relationship. There is no mention of anyone being gay or bisexual; the relationships just are (if that makes any sense), between two people and not two genders.

That was the same thing in the book One Small Thing (One Thing, #1) by Piper Vaughn . The book never told us what Erik's sexual orientation was. He loved Rue and it just wasn't an issue.

I have not read Hushed so I dont know how it compares. I just know that One Small Thing didnt make an issue out of Erik's sexuality (although he seemed pansexual to me). But if you do enjoy One Small Thing that would be great. :)

Yes, Belkis. I usually don't like POV books because it's like reading the same story again. But this wasn't like that at all. It is all about Lucas and his back story. It's so tragic and I enjoyed it very very much.

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments I'm almost done with Ready Player One by Ernest Cline and it's okay but I've struggled with it. Bored for the most part. I think I need to stop attempting these types of stories. It never goes well for me LOL! It's not bad, it just has too much gaming talk and it's not my thing I guess. At least not in a book format because in a movie it'd probably be great, if that makes any sense. Can't wait to find out how this finishes. Now reading Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson - im not really big on contemporary, usually just stick to fantasy/SF or historical, but I have to read this cause I'm running a discussion on it in Feb and im actually really enjoying it! It's not too heavy and has a great concept - reminds me of some of the books I read when I actually was a teenager
