Donna | 1350 comments For some reason This Shattered World (Starbound, #2) by Amie Kaufman isn't keeping my attention. I like it but my mind wanders. So I've also read Extinguish (Extinguish, #1) by J.M. Darhower and Locke (Corps Security, #5) by Harper Sloan . Both were good. I'm not real big on angel/devil books but I thought Extinguish put a unique spin on it. Very enjoyable. ...Now what?

Yeah, I was SO disappointed with how this series went. Divergent was my all-time fave dystopian and I absolutely adored the characters, and then I heard Insurgent was slow and of course the debacle that is that ending in Allegiant. Such a shame, even the first movie was great but I'm nervous about seeing the rest of them.

I'm curious about GoTaS, too. The cover draws me in every time I see it, but the low ratings make me hesitant.

And I'm also struggling through Insurgent (Divergent, #2) by Veronica Roth with the rest of you. I'm about halfway in and it's just not doing it for me like Divergent did.

It was pretty good. I would say the writing quality was good and the story was decent. I liked the romance part, but there were a ton of clichés. Overall I would say I think you should give it a try.

message 14285: by Victoria (new)

Victoria | 259 comments finished Maybe Someday (Maybe, #1) by Colleen Hoover and I really liked it although I was hoping to love it and it fell a little short, I think it had to do with the plot line centering around the cheating. I just couldn't love the characters as much as I wanted to because of their behavior. I am in the middle of Snow Like Ashes (Snow Like Ashes, #1) by Sara Raasch and although it started out slow for me, I am now kind of sucked in and interested to find out where this is all going, and today I started a re-read of Easy (Contours of the Heart, #1) by Tammara Webber because I read this so long ago that I completely missed Breakable (Contours of the Heart, #2) by Tammara Webber ??? So I got it today and am looking forward to it. :)
