I hear you Tracy, some genres are hit or miss for all of of us. I don't care for mysteries, or thrillers, or horror. And UF stories have to be just right for me to enjoy them. I think it's because I'm a total romance buff hahahaha! I need everything to have a love angle in it LOL! That's why PNR is way more enjoyable than UF for me. And I do love my contemporary romances. Of course I'm one of those annoying readers who need to have HEA's because otherwise I'm not a happy camper :P

So good Tracy. I hope you can remember the plot from PP. It'll probably all come back to you after a few chapters.

And yet we usually love the same books! I love mystery, action, UF and horror. Romance is the genre that I have to be in the mood for but when you guys go on about a book I know I have to read it.

The Fault in Our Stars meets Eleanor and Park in this exhilarating and heart-wrenching love story about a girl who learns to live from a boy who intends to die.

That is me in a nutshell too. A book is usually not quite right for me unless there is some sort of romance in it. it doesn't have to be over the top, but just there somehow. Of course there are some exceptions. Like The Book Thief for example, no romance in that but it was a favorite of mine anyway.

So, done with All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven . Will write my review tonight as it must go up on the blog tomorrow. Jumped back into Unmade (Entangled, #2) by Amy Rose Capetta , which I am still uncertain about (b/c I cannot seem to remember much of the first book which I just read in April!). And I'm sneaking in Ensnared (Splintered, #3) by A.G. Howard here and there along with Polaris (Avalon, #2) by Mindee Arnett

Awww, please please don't let it be a FiOS kind of a gut-wrencher! I do want to read this one but if it's the ugly cry kind of read then it will have to be put into rotation behind Me Before You and Bright Star because they're slotted to be next up for the ugly cry spots in my reading agenda this year. There's only so much emotional devastation I can deal with every month.

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments So far this month is turning out to be a fantastic one. Every book I've read so far has be heart-pounding fantastic! I've read these last 3 books This Shattered World (Starbound, #2) by Amie Kaufman The Book of Ivy (The Book of Ivy, #1) by Amy Engel Dead of Winter (The Arcana Chronicles, #3) by Kresley Cole one after the other and all 3 were awesome. I'd planned to start Red Rising (Red Rising Trilogy, #1) by Pierce Brown but I think I need a contemporary to slow things down a bit before I start it reading it. So I'm going to jump into Not Quite Forever (Not Quite, #4) by Catherine Bybee first since this is another one I've been wanting to read for a while and I've really enjoyed this series so far.

Oh Ash, that sucks. Dead Of Winter was fantastic! You can probably listen on your computer too. I don't know which audio website you use but you should be able to listen to it using an app or a media player from a computer, the audio website, etc. With Audible.com I can listen to my audios right from the website on my work computer, my personal laptap, my iPad, my phone, my Kindle (yeah a bit obsessed LOL!). Anyway, hope you can listen to it soon, the book was fantastic and the narration was another great one.

It was pretty good, it got 4 stars from me, obviously had sex in it, but it was quite tasteful and instead of the story revolving around it like certain erotica, it just enhanced the story. Noughts and Crosses is proving pretty good, I had it on my tbr for absolutely ages, then found it for £1 the other day, so thought why not

Same here!! I only read the first VA book and didn't like it, really not interested in reading the rest. Covenant series had me hooked at every page, the characters were just much more likable. I didn't feel the 'obvious' similarities despite VA fans pointing them out, and regardless I think JLA made a more intriguing storyline with it and her characters were just unforgettable vs. a kind of drab VA cast.
