LOL! Sorry Bridget (not really hahahaha) but IAD kicks seriously butt! They're SO good. Love how HOT the male leads are, intelligent, HILARIOUS, well written, cool freaking plot, and KICKASS female leads, all the books have.

Yeah, it's been a TBR of mine for ages too. I figured it would be a good book to read for the TBR challenge.

I did enter, glad you mentioned that as well!! I have all the others signed so it'd be awesome to have the full set without having to shell out additional money (I've already preordered the kindle copy).

Didn't hear that about the Gemini series; I know Gemini wasn't as well received and didn't really factor at all in the other books, but I'm surprised about My Skylar.

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) | 152 comments Veronica, readers have already done it with Jennifer L. Armentrout's Convenant series. Have to be honest I enjoyed that series. If it's good writing it's kind of like reading fan fiction.

Just read the blurb coz I was curious and could not stop laughing....admittedly, haven't read the book but could the blurb sound any more like a VA knock off?? If the guy is six and a half feet tall with dark hair, then yes...definitely!!

The annoying thing is this sounds like such a good premise, why couldn't the author just do away with the really obvious similarities and keep the rest of the story?

Ahh the waits, I do NOT miss them, I remember I was on holiday when Half Blood Prince came out, there were loads of people say by the pool reading it, torture!!

I haven't read VA, but I've read Covenant. I heard the first book is similar and then it veers off from there. I don't care if the author gives me a good story.

This is exactly why I made the decision to only start reading a series once it's done despite how much I want to read a book. The waiting p***ed me off too much and by the time the next book comes around I've usually forgotten half of what happened in the previous ones.

Normally I don't either Lynn but sometimes that gets by me. I will however read mystery/action books even of they aren't all out because they usually start a new story just with same characters.
