Yeah retellings are hard ones to get just right Tracy. I love retellings of certain fairytales not all though. I like cinderella & beauty and the beast ones best. I've found a few retellings based on these that I've actually loved.

Maybe once I have a license and this starts to become something relevant to me, Audiobooks will become more appealing. As it is, all my commute is done on buses/trains and I can read freely in them ^_^

I just started re-reading , my favorite YA shifter series! It's really awesome, with an amazing heroine and a unique romance, and kickass plot. It's also way underrated, so if any of you like shifters, give this book a shot!!

I finally read Harry Potter a few months back. They were soooo good. I think I finished the whole series in like 2 weeks. My son's third grade class is doing this whole Harry Potter thing now where all the students are wearing Hogwarts robes every day. it's so cute

I'm so glad you enjoyed them Teresa!!! I think no matter what happens they will always be my favourite books of all time! I remember reading the first four in about five days when I was about 14 and then having to wait impatiently for the next ones to come out - now I re-read them whenever I'm sick :)

I am pissed that every one thinks its Okay to copy vamp academy.
Even if the main character was funny, the story fell flat. Also characters were card board cut outs. I think Jennifer Armentrout's half blood was a better copy.

I did know that it was going to be awesome even before reading it by the raving reviews, high ratings, and book synopsis. But I think it was Mel or Tiana who finished it first and confirmed it's awesomeness LOL! But Marni did read it too and said it was fantastic hahahaha!
