No, I haven't read Fangirl. I did try it once and it didn't interest me at the time. Not because it wasn't good but it sounded like a contemp romance and I wasn't in the mood for it at the time. Do you have to read Fangirl to understand Carry On?

Didn't get to sit and read much over the holidays and went a bit stir crazy because of it. Now that things are getting back to normal, I've picked up Betrayal again, by Gillian Shields and am getting back on track.

I'm sure I had good intentions to go on to the second one, but there were probably a crap load of new releases that week or maybe Erin got on one of her rants and side tracked me into reading something else. Oh and then there is Brooke doing the same thing except she hasn't read any lately that she is raving about. Then there is Belkis but I don't even put hers on the shelf, I jus go ahead and read them to save the room. Man they really need to stop talking books.

I started listening to audio books because I had a long drive to work in a lot of traffic. By the time I got to work I would be s uptight. Someone suggested I listen to audios since I liked to read so I did. It made my travel to work so much more relaxing and I didn't even mind the traffic.

It's just you'd understand the connection and the excitement behind it if you did.
The MC in Fangirl wrote fanfic about a book series in the story, which was a fictitious world made up by Rowell for Fangirl that also happened to be fanfic of Harry Potter.
I think that makes sense, it wasn't easy to try and explain :)

When I discovered them years ago, I didn't stop until I'd read all of the ones that were published at the time. Since tgen I've reread them a couple of times. Love IAD. Have them on audio too so have started my latest reread on audio and enjoying yhem anew again :p so glad you've discovered them and fallen in love like so many of us.
