Rome's book was one of the better ones. I really loved him in that book and really came to understand him even if he was dense and hardheaded lol.

Yep TEAM COLE!!!! I loved him. Ugh why did she have to come up with such a destructive ending to the series? It really was a crappy book.

Andrea: BookStoreFinds (bookstorefinds) | 91 comments I'm reading This Shattered World (Starbound #2) and it's good so far! But I miss Tarver! Lol

P.s. GR app for iPhone seriously needs to get on top of adding book covers and links in comments!!

I know, right? LOL! I was actually getting upset with contemporary reads. But I love how Julie writes (she wrote Whatever Life Throws at You, which was fantastic). Yeah, I liked that it wasn't all about the sex but more of a slow burn. He's just got that sexy aura, being the ultimate bad boy and all. ;-) It was a great shift from the PNR I've read lately that was all about hard-core sex, I needed this change of pace. I did think both books had a bit of a slow and uneventful plot at times, but again that was a welcome change from action scenes and drama around every corner. Luce was just an awesome character and he kept me reading no matter what was going on!

Unfortunately no, each book is about different characers in the same world. but i did read that there will be a novella about each one. I read the novella about Tarver and Lilac and loved it. I guess there will be another to come after This shattered World, and then again with book 3.

I do wish I got more on Tarver and Lilac. I wanted to know what happened once they got back and what her father did!

Bree (breesc23) I'm reading Zodiac (Zodiac, #1) by Romina Russell and Shift by Em Bailey . The premise of Zodiac sounds awesome, but I'm not far enough to know if that's try or not. Shift has been hard to put down, very contemporary feel but seems to have a... Supernatural element to it though barely, so far, IMO. Not sure if literal or metaphorical though...

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Finally reading Q and Blay's story. This is wretched lol. Wayyyyyyyyyyy too many POVs. Idc about Sola or whatever or Assail. Layla and Sax is important to the story. Don't really care for the Lessening Society POVs granted those have calmed a bit what with Xcor. Xcor's POV for me could go either way some parts I like reading it other parts I'm bored. Obviously Q and Blay POV are fine and Wrath's is cool too. But seriously we don't need that effing many. Ugh lol. She needs to cut down how many alternating POVs we have.
