Im about half way through book 3 now! All three audio books are 15 hrs long But book 2 was a bit slower till about mid way through and the story really picks back up again.Book 3 is just WOW shes turning into her mom which you will meet in book 2. Yes the main story line of the first book is about physical,emotional abuse and all you can ask is WHY??? there is no rhyme or reason for what this poor girl is put through! If thre has ever been a book that has really Pissed me off it would be these first 2 books! This poor girl GAH she goes through so much!! Book 2 is kind of the after math but again its more of emotional abuse and learning about herself and parents but again more abuse emotionally and eventually a little bit of learnng to cope and book 3 which Im about halfway through now is about her own self destruction and learning to deal with all shes been through. I connected with Emma the MC from the start and well Kate Rudd is just a pretty amazing narrator and has really done an amazing job with this story. Belkis wrote: "Laura wrote: "I started

Yes, I decided to go with it and OMG! I'm in love. This narrator is making me crush hard on her. She's really bringing the characters to life with her different voices and the amount of expression and emotion she uses. It's just....I don't want it to end.

Her sister is really pissing me off. I feel so bad for Nyx, I mean, she's had nothing and no one has cared about her and the one person who does, she's forced to give him up...ugh, so frustrating.

Yes Mel, I got really frustrated with Nyx too for the same reason. But I loved the story. Hope you end up liking it too.

YES, this narrator is fantastic. And she brought book 2 to life for me as well and I was ecstatic when I saw that she was narrating IM! I LOVED LOVED IT!

Ok, I finally back from hiatus. I've been holed up reading
and avoiding goodreads like the plague so that I didn't accidentally come across any spoilers. I hate spoilers more than anything in the world!! But I'm done now and it was AWESOME!!!!! I loved every freaking second of it.
