It's my first mermaid series as well Brooke. I was listening to it at first and wasn't liking it so much. The narrator tries but he just doesn't pull it off for me. I started reading it and I'm enjoying it much more.

I started and read the whole thing in about 4 hours. Stayed up until 2am to finish it. Obviously I enjoyed it.

That's good to know Brooke. I won't start on it today because I have to much to do. Santa destroyed my house. If I start it I won't stop.

So I'm 52% done with Make it Last (Bowler University, #3) by Megan Erickson and I'm bored :( I have to finish it by the 7th so maybe I should put it down for today and start on Ignite (Defy, #2) by Sara B. Larson ?

Aleksandra | 8 comments Right now I'm reading a Graceling Realm novel called Bitterblue.
I love the Graceling novels and I was so excited about finding Bitterblue.
I initially thought it wasn't out yet. To my surprise I found it in the library the next time I went; it totally made my day.
Anybody else enjoy the Graceling novels?

I didn't love Defy, it was just ok for me. But the ending left me wanting more. I'm about 7% in now and so far it's ok.

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments I've finished Scars and Stripes (The Last Good Knight, #1) by Tiffany Reisz Sore Spots (The Last Good Knight, #2) by Tiffany Reisz The Games Destiny Plays (The Last Good Knight, #3) by Tiffany Reisz which of course were really good. Also finished Wraith (Debt Collector 10) by Susan Kaye Quinn which was great. Nice new story-line for this series which had turned into a whole new addiction for me. Finished The Forever Girl (The Forever Girl #1) by Rebecca Hamilton too and the first third of the book was very interesting but then it got all draggy UGH! It had potential but fell flat for me. Now reading Fit to Be Tied (The Last Good Knight, #4) by Tiffany Reisz The Last Good Night (The Last Good Knight, #5) by Tiffany Reisz because I haven't had much reading time to really sit down with a long or detailed book. I probably won't get back to normal reading until the holidays are over and all visiting family members return to their homes.

The first one was the best one for me too on this one Paula and Tracy. Yes the cliffhanger at the end of book 1 really makes you jump into book 2 but book 2 does have a different vibe than book 1 and was also not as interesting as book 1 either.

On the Edge was disappointing. I was expecting it to be really emotional but the romance was insta-love and totally flat. It was a watered down version of Perfect Chemistry.

I love the Graceling series! Fire was my favourite. I'm glad you're enjoying them. Let me know what you think of Bitterblue. It has a bit "heavier" content then the other two, and the character Bitterblue is a a different kind of hero to the other two girls in that she doesn't have any special powers or gifts. But I thought that it tied the first two books up really well.

I really liked it. I was surprised by how much. I have a lot of hesitancy when it comes to Entangled books. I've had quite a few lately that have not really been up to par with what I'd like. But I really loved this one. If you enjoyed TFiOS, then you'll like this one.

Andrea: BookStoreFinds (bookstorefinds) | 91 comments I have been up to my eyeballs with stuff, but i have been readings For Always For Always and im about half way through. I have a hard time reading romance novels. Dont get me wrong, I like some steaminess to my books, but I don't like romance driven books, I like it littered through the book. I REALLY cant do the Harlequin thing, No throbbing appendages for me!

but then again, maybe I haven't found the right type of romance novel for me?

Andrea, one of the best romance novels for me is Jayne Ann Krentz. She writes contemporary and historical romances but the plots are strong so the romance isn't. I find myself reading her when I want romance.

Yes, I read it a while back. I did not like it at all. It was really long and drawn out for me. It's supposed to be based on Twilight, I think originally fan fic type stuff. I wasn't impressed.
