Well...I started it once and put it aside. I guess I wasn't in the mood for it. I do however, have it in audio so I will give it another shot.

We need to do a TBR challenge next year. I swear I have over 2,000 books on that stinking shelf. I'm never going to get all of those read. I mean seriously, I will have to live a thousand years to read everything I want to.

This is my beef with a lot of series these days. It's like the author stretches the story out so long to get as many books out as possible but in the process the books wind up being too long and too boring. Like a 5 book series could have been told in 3 books instead. I just sort of find that irritating. Not all series are like that but a lot I've read lately are.

So my head is a mess right now with holiday planning and school events for the kids, and I can't remember what I've posted recently. lol So if anything is a repeat, just ignore!

I finished Eyes Turned Skyward by Rebecca Yarros and loved it, and Soul Enslaved (Sons of Wrath, #3) by Keri Lake which may be my fave of the series so far!!

Read Shame on You (Fool Me Once, #1) by Tara Sivec , it was good but not up to par with Sivec's other series, and Unfiltered & Unlawful (Unfiltered, #1) by Payge Galvin , a gritty and sexy story that's not for everyone but I really liked.

Next up is Given (Give & Take, #3) by Kelli Maine , haven't read from this series in a long time so hopefully I can pull details from the cobwebs of my memory!

Starting

Exactly! There is no need to drag out series if it told it's story already. You ruin your own work and annoy us without a good reason. I hate when it happens to my favorite series. It happens too often in pnr, by the time you read the 13th book it has nothing new to offer and even characters aren't the same and not in a good way. I just heard there will be 4th book in the Selection series, I'm just saying WTF?

Did you like it? I'm a fan of the T/S relationships, but lately I haven't had much luck. I read Good (Too Good, #1) by S. Walden while back and I wouldn't recommend it. The power balance between characters was zero. The teacher had it all, which made him a predator and ruined the story for me. Ugh, he was such a sick prick.

Mine is unnecessary drama. I can't stand when characters are running around like a headless chicken and throwing tantrums when one conversation would solve all their problems. You are grown up, freaking act like it.
