I'm reading Fated (Dark Protectors, #1) by Rebecca Zanetti and Fireborn (Souls of Fire, #1) by Keri Arthur so far Fated is interesting and Fireborn made me hate Sam though I didn't get too far.

True. But it does not go with the personality of this character at all. Not to mention it just does not seem appropriate for the story line/plot/type of story/whatever.

Nope, it's not appropriate. It sounds rough, hard, and like it hurts. While this guy is about trying to be gentle and make her feel good. Doubtful in this situation where the girl only had sex one time before.

finally finished Wicked (A Wicked Saga, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout . Now I need to finish Dark Triumph (His Fair Assassin, #2) by Robin LaFevers and There Will Be Lies by Nick Lake . Started Losing Logan (Losing Logan, #1) by Sherry D. Ficklin which seems like it will be a quick read (read the novella Haunting Zoe (Losing Logan, #0.5) by Sherry D. Ficklin yesterday). And I need to read Hemlock (Hemlock, #1) by Kathleen Peacock and Thornhill (Hemlock, #2) by Kathleen Peacock right quick so I can get to Willowgrove (Hemlock, #3) by Kathleen Peacock

I know, right? When I saw it was published in 2012 I figured most of the books would be out by now. I didn't even check. Now that I know there is no more books kind of lost interest. :( Yeah, I checked also and there seems to be no activities on author's page whatsoever.

Haha, yeah I've been little stressed out lately and books are my outlet. Every free second I find I bury my nose in my kindle. That's better than reading them one after another. I was just so taken with KA I was considering moving to Denver. :D I can't believe I haven't read anything from her before. Oh Belkis, Knight is soooo good!!! I was avoiding it because of the adultery theme, but quite honestly it didn't really bother me that much. Even though I'm happily married woman even I would have been tempted by Lucian Knight. He flew past every alpha man on my shelves and landed on the top spot, he is that yummy! :) I hope you will enjoy. :D

I read the first one not long ago. I liked it, but not really loved it. The MC was too annoying and never not even once came up with a comeback. Not even bad one. She just sputtered every time or was falling down. Someone who is a runner should develop some freaking grace. But it was entertaining read. I'm just saying she could have been less damsel in distress and more kickass.

Lol, you aren't cray cray. :D "impale" sounds painful and little too out there for NA. I think NA authors should be more careful and subtle about slamming it in there. I read a sex scene in a NA book that was too vulgar for the genre and rated the book low just because of that. I really liked the story, but I thought face sitting was too out of line for na characters. Erotica is there for the "slam bam thank you ma'am" type of reason.
