I just finished reading it and i'm a mess... "maybe a little sad" is an understatement. It's heart wrenching and stomach clenching. I couldn't even breathe at some parts. these kinda books really move me and make me cry. I need a happy book to read now

Loved this book! Went into it thinking it was a happy book, after all "bright" is in the name. But nope. It threw me for loop.

I liked Graveminder by Melissa Marr Different but took me a bit to get into it.

Carnival of Secrets by Melissa Marr <<-Enjoyed alot!!

The Arrivals by Melissa Marr was different but I felt like there should be more to it, there is a Novella coming out for it so maybe it will wrap some unanswered Qs up for me.

Same here Bridget. I actually bought it a while ago and it's sitting in my kindle but I need to work up to emotional fortitude to read it :( I have quite a few emotional wrecking balls sitting in my kindle waiting their turn.

It's an excellent, original story. But I didn't like the writing style. I think it will make a better movie.
