Annie Brewer (anniebrewer) | 2351 comments Read Eyes Turned Skyward by Rebecca Yarros , an unbelievably heartbreaking and beautiful story I received from Netgalley (It's not out until next month). I was blown away by the emotions that poured from my kindle. Hope it's given a chance. If you've read Full Measures by Rebecca Yarros , you'll love this one! It's by the same author. And the guys are PILOTS! Hello! I love a man in uniform.

Now reading The Hook Up (Game On, #1) by Kristen Callihan . Love me some Drew Baylor!

Hahaha! I'm book obsessed Teresa so I watch for upcoming book releases, I follow tons of favorite authors so continually get updates, follow publishers, reviewers, Amazon's kindle top movers, 100 best sellers list, newly released kindle & audio books, loads of suggestions and recommendations from GR friends,"what are you reading" discussions like this one, etc. You name it, I'm watching it for note worthy books :)

DNF'd Forbidden (Forbidden #1) by Kimberley Griffiths Little . I'm a bit sad because the writing is good, but the story is so boring for me. Nothing is happening. So I'll move on to #Nerd (Hashtag, #1) by Cambria Hebert . I need another light read before diving back into There Will Be Lies by Nick Lake

I just got all but one of these books at the Houston Book Rave Saturday. Most of the authors were there and told me how they all used a spreadsheet for the different events that had to be the same in all the books even though they're different stories. I just thought the idea of doing a series like that was pretty awesome. I hope I like them. I've heard they're great,

I'm upset about Forbidden because it had such a good concept. But NOTHING happened by 200 pages in. I was BORED out of my mind! So far #NERD is cute. I'm about 20% in. Predictable, but I kind of like that!
