Teresa | 606 comments I just started Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #1) by J.R. Ward . It seemed to be a pretty popular book in this group.

I liked these but book 2 I felt wasn't as great, still good though.

I have heard many many people say this is an awesome book, I think I'll wait until more are out to start reading them. I hate waiting.

It is, and there are LOTS OF BOOKS.

I still need to read Phury's book but I feel like it's a waste of time.

But I'll do it eventually.

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments I'm still binging out on Anita Blake, I'm in book 9 Obsidian Butterfly (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #9) by Laurell K. Hamilton so far it's interesting but the boys aren't there so I'm slightly bored. But it is interesting to get more about Edward.

Almost finished with Born of Night (The League, #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon and it's good really good but I'm more fond of the Dark Hunter series.

1/2 way through Forbidden by Kimberley Griffiths Little and it's still fairly slow. I'm waiting for something to happen. The writing is good, but there is NIL action! I also started There Will Be Lies by Nick Lake which is bizarre in how it's written so far.

It doesn't matter what Making Faces costs, because you will probably read it a dozen times in your life, so it totally evens out. It is literally my favorite book of all time...except then I read Infinity + One and it became my favorite book of all time...at the same time as Making Faces. Then I read Running Barefoot and the Purgatory books and I was like "oh wow", and now Amy gifted me with The Law of Moses, which should be out by Thanksgiving. I've read about 10% and it's so freaking amazing...

I'm saving A Different Blue for when I go through a glut of horrible books and need to renew my faith in literature. Yes, Amy writes literature, not just books.

Can you tell I'm and Amy Harmon junkie? :) Just read her books.

So glad you loved it! I hope it was a good ending for all. And that all the questions were answered to the other two books. I'm not that far in, and am so hooked and wondering what the hell's going on. Hodkin knows how to give us readers whiplash...and nightmares. lol

Still reading There Will Be Lies by Nick Lake and it's a bit weird. For the conversations, there are no quotation marks, everything is in italics. Hard to get used to. Also, the little plot twist that just happened was obvious to me.

I LOVE Better When He's Bad! I think Bax is my favorite boy from her books. I'm not sure I'll like a whole book about Race though. He sorta annoyed me at the end of BWHB. But I'm being silly because I'm sure Jay Crownover will write him just a great as the others.
