I've read the entire House of Night series. Now I enjoyed it but it's very much about teenagers. Plus, I think it went on 5 books too long. P.C.Cast has another series which is one of my all time favorites, Goddess Summoning series. Goddess of Spring (Goddess Summoning, #2) by P.C. Cast Goddess of the Rose (Goddess Summoning, #4) by P.C. Cast Warrior Rising (Goddess Summoning, #6) by P.C. Cast Goddess of Light (Goddess Summoning, #3) by P.C. Cast Goddess of Love (Goddess Summoning, #5) by P.C. Cast Goddess of Legend (Goddess Summoning, #7) by P.C. Cast
I promise you won't be disappointed. Everyone who I recommended them to also loved them.

I'm liking it too, Mandy. I think I like this second book better than the first though. Donna has been raving over her other PNR series. Three Wishes, I think? Anyway, I guess I'll be checking that out next. She needs to start cranking more out. If I run out of KA books, I might have a small break down on my hands. I saw it not too long ago. I was home by myself with the kids (DH was stuck at work) so I thought, why not? It was ok for me. I read the book so long ago I can't even remember how intense it was.

Mostly I remember how the book made me feel. I was pretty young and at that time there weren't books like that. While watching the movie I remember parts of the book and it really broke my heart. That book was emotional on so many levels. The mother turning the way she did, the kids turning to each other. The mental and physical abuse that Chris took. I just really made me sad.

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments I've still been binging out on Anita Blake, I tried to find something else to read but couldn't find anything interesting enough. So I just finished book 8 Anita is very annoying though. It also seems like everyone wants to bed her....kind of weird. Lol. Yet here I am still holding on for the ride.

I'll probably do book 9 tomorrow.

Paula (littledarling2012) | 621 comments Finished Rellik by Teresa Mummert and OMG this book was amazingly good. I couldn't get enough of it.

Also finished Pretending Hearts (Falling for Autumn, #2) by Heather Topham Wood and have to consider it one of the best books of 2014 and Levi - one of the best book boyfriends ever. Le sigh.

DNF Sociopath by Lime Craven as the main character drove me insane. I wanted to kick him in the balls or cut them off and feed them to him.

Now reading Ripped (Real, #5) by Katy Evans and am in love with it. So glad I like it as "Rogue" definitely wasn't for me. But Ripped....I like Pandora and Kenna - the tension between them, the hurt feelings, the depth they both have. Yay.
