Yes, very true. It's a bit slow to build in the beginning but I loved it from beginning to end. Such complexity of story and characters. Love all of the Greek mythology that she wove into it. And how imperfect both Nyx and Ignifex were. All of the twisted emotions brewing between Nyx's family members and the mystery between Ignifex and Shade. I really took my time with this one because it was very intricate.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it Donna. Every one of the books to this series are fantastic and all hysterically funny so let me just tell you that this series is very addicting. I still need to read Reaper's Property. But have both books waiting in my Kindle :)

Also finished Outpost (Razorland, #2) by Ann Aguirre and now moving on to Horde (Razorland, #3) by Ann Aguirre . I love that my library had all three in at one time, it is like reading one big novel.. really hoping this series ends well.

While I am listening to Not A Drop To Drink I am reading Gnome on the Range by Jennifer Zane but not at the same time. I got Gnome on the Range free from Amazon and I have to say I am loving it. It's a romance/mystery type book but it's also very very humorous.

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Finished Claimed (Brides of the Kindred, #1) by Evangeline Anderson it was ok. Definitely a lot of sexual tension and teasing and Olivia was awfully annoying. The story dragged on, despite that, I think I will eventually carry on with the series...just not right now. So I'm about to start Reckoning (Night Huntress, #0.5) by Jeaniene Frost wish me luck I hear this series is amazing, so hopefully I'll like it.

Oh no, it's great! I just got sidetracked when I saw Seducing Cinderella (Fighting for Love, #1) by Gina L. Maxwell was only .99 and I skipped over to read it. TIS is getting better and better. It's like it takes R Mead a few books to really let loose.

Makes total sense Bridget I've had that happen to me a few times too. Hate when our minds wander to so many things we have going on and end up no feeling what we're reading and it's unfair to the book because we don't really give it our whole attention.
