Ok, hey all, I'm reading
but not too far into it, I've met Silas, so far I'm not impressed, I've just met Carson he's cool. But I'm like page 51. Now I don't normally do this, but I am simultaneously reading
for a buddy read challenge in another group, it was open, they were starting it, it's been sitting in my tbrs, and I've already got #7 before release date, soooooo it sounded like a great idea to read it. My problem is I like to devour books in one sitting and I don't like going back and forth, but now I'm in both books and want to check out both books. I see I started a discussion with the first book All Lined Up, but the second book that Brooke read already, and that it appears Tracy and Bridget want to read, but need to read the first so you're welcome guys lol.
As to Colleens books, I think I prefer Slammed and Maybe Someday over Hopeless. I have yet to read Ugly Love. But I'll tell you I'm leaning towards Maybe Someday being the best of the whole lot. So maybe start with the others so they don't set the bar so high, though I will say most of CH's stuff is no less than 4 stars, but honestly a lot are 5 star reads.

Actually, you'll probably dislike him, A LOT. But Carmack will change your mind in book #2. Keep reading. Carson is AMAZING!
And Maybe Someday is my fav Hoover book to date. I didn't liked the Slammed books. I never read That Girl b/c it took a lot for me to get through POR.

I think it may have been because there were so many different storylines/points of views. I'd get really into one person's story then suddenly it switches to someone else. Though I love Iko and Captain Thorne. Is he supposed to represent anyone from a fairytale?

Yeah, I'm kind of bummed. I gave her last two books I read 3s. I do want to read Wicked, but not sure I'll be ready for it when it comes out in December. I may wait.

It's not NA. I like NA. It's actually her. I'm sad. But all her stuff seems the same to me now. She needs to write some stand alones.

I think Cress is supposed to be a Rapunzel retelling and Capt Thorne is like the guy who says Rapunzel let down your hair - at least that's how I interpreted it. I can't wait for the final book in this series to come out. Agree with the other who say Cress is really good - it does have a lot of POVs though.
