I applaud you, Belkis! Stupid but addicting 1-clicking will be the death of me! haha. But yes, I have to think hard on ebooks that are $5 or more.

Loved the Vincent Boys. It was actually my first A Glines book. Fond memories. ;)

Tracy I finished late last night and oh my gosh I loved it. The whole "secret" was weird to me at first (that was my skeptical part) but I kept reading and just wow.

Bridget | 1517 comments Rainfall by Melissa Delport was so good. Definitely a mind bender, Belkis. I was a little disappointed with the ending, but on the other hand it made the story just that much more. If that makes sense. Great book for sure.

I have a rule I don't pay more then 5-7 dollars for an ebook and even then rarely.Usually I wait intil they go down to .99-3.99 on sale. I think some of the prices are just ridiculous. I usually buy most of my YA fantasy and sci-fi in paperback/hardcover because I like to have them in as real books and they all seem to cost way more on kindle then the romances I usually buy on kindle.

I usually don't even find out about them until after I've read at least the first one. But I saw this so I read it. I read the prequels before Throne of Glass and I'm glad I did. It made me understand the MC so much better in the books.

Why?

Religion is a fact of life and many people are religious. "This was in no way a "Christian" story, but Fern and her family were Christian. Her father is a minister - not mentioning the bible or Jesus would have been an omission most people would have noticed.

I am Jewish. I do not read "Christian" romances because I do find them preachy and I don't need that in my life. Every Amy Harmon I read leaves me feeling lifted up and inspired, and yes there is Christianity in it. But I have NEVER felt bashed over the head at all.

Maybe I'm just biased because this (along with Infinity + One and Running Barefoot and probably A Different Blue are the best books I've ever read.

This is why the never shrinking tbr just gets bigger and bigger LOL! I jumped into Partials (The Partials Sequence, #1) by Dan Wells and it already has me riveted!

Those Vincent boys were just a tad to sweet for me Belkis. I did love Partials though!

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Finished Visions of Heat (Psy-Changeling, #2) by Nalini Singh I liked it, but the romance part was kind of stilted. The overall story arc was definitely good and allowed me to learn a crapload of more information than the previous book. We found out a lot, towards the end of Faiths story, but it foreshadows the series and what you might be able to expect.

UGH! That's a no go for me :( I HAVE TO have romance in all of the stories I read otherwise I feel like it lacks intensity or draw or emotions and the story tends to bore me. It doesn't need to take over the story or be overwhelming but it has to be there. This is the reason why I think I don't really enjoy UF stories either. They never really grab me. I can't seem to make a connection or something. Yeah this series probably isn't for me. Thanks Danielle.

It had the romance but it seemed lacking to me. And I know what you mean as well. I like romance like Cat and Bones being UF but still having it enough to make me want to read more. This was ok.

I have started listening to Possess (The Possess Saga, #1) by J.A. Howell . I was free on kindle and I got it really cheap on audio. It's really good but Belkis wouldn't like it cause it's a little on the creepy (scary) side. There's ghost and stuff and thought it would be a good October read.
