What Are You Reading? 2015

Here is 9,95. WTF?! I bought couple of years back for 1,99 if I'm not mistaken. I will let you know if I see it on sale again. Totally not fair because sequel cost almost same. In same price I can buy three or four ebooks. Crazy.

I agree!! Sometimes ebooks cost same as paperbacks or even more expensive. I believe ebooks were created to make books more affordable and accessible. $8 doesn't accomplish either. Grrr, how can pb and ebook cost same?!

I didn't read that one.

I didn't read that one.

Yup :( that's what I think too....

I got it when it was on sale too Ekaterine, thank goodness.

I know, eBook prices are crazy. I have seen some that are $15 or over. I think in a way they do it so you end up buying the physical book because it's the same price or cheaper. Usually, if it's over a certain amount I hit the library :)
So I found out there is a novella before the book I'm reading
. I stopped
for now until I finish the novella. Not sure it has to be read before, but I think it's giving background, so I'll finish it first, then go back.

Maybe I will try book two for both of us. I'll let you know how it goes.

Oh God, no. I mean it was okay...but NOTHING like Forbidden!!! That book was/is special all its own. :)

Yes this is a big issue in the publishing world these days. If you buy a book that is traditionally published often the physical book is more expensive than the ebook. The prediction is that it won't alwys be that way because of the way indie authors price their books.

I won't pay more than $5 and I even feel like that's a lot sometimes. I'd rather just buy the paperback for $9

Agreed.

$5 is usually max as well. I'll go over if it's part of series i'm already into. But I've stopped reading some authors because their prices are so high. It's really hard to justify spending over $5 for less than 150 pages. At least, in my opinion.

Omg yes Amanda. I don't even like 5 my faces are the .99! The most I have paid is 7 for Tangled by Emma Chase but won't do that again. They end up coming down on their price when the next book comes out.

Which one? You mean E&P wasn't yours? I read a book that wasn't on your shelf?

I am liking the Psy changeling, we get to interact with the first couple still. I find it just interesting, maybe cause I'm so emotional lol idk. But it's fascinating and I'm not entirely able to predict where the story is going so that is important to me. It means it's not predictable.

Eleanor and Park? Yea it's also part of the Mod Challenge but idk if I'll like it, however I might be open to trying it since it's rated well.

I read it and it was OK. That ending though had me sitting there with my mouth hanging open.

Yes, makes a lot more sense to pay more than $5 for an actual book!

I loved E&P Danielle I hope you like it.

Deal Tracy :)

Haven't started it yet, but seriously thinking about it for after Psy Changeling. Idk how you all can read more than one book at a time. I can't unless I'm not into one. Generally I like to focus on the one I'm reading and finish it before putting other worlds ideas in my head lol.

The blurb to this one is a little confusing. She loves Adam but catches him doing the cha-cha with someone else then she is delivered a secret and she loves him more than life. So how is it really going Bridget because I think I might pick this one up.

That's good to know Laura. I liked Killing Sarai but not enough to read the next one but if it is that good then perhaps I will.

That's so cool! I liked the 1st book. I like Rose's pov & voice. It's kinda refreshing to hear since she's super innocent but not in an irritating way, you know? Anyhow, I like it enough to read book 2.

I used to be just terrible with the 1-clicking thing on Amazon but I've gotten much better. At least I don't 1-click ebooks that are more $4.99, that's my limit on ebooks! Especially with the kindle unlimited offer that Amazon is offering :) even better!

Oh see, that's interesting Danielle. The fact that the couple from the first book is continuing their story into book 2 for psy-changeling. Keep me posted on how it goes. I might end up changing my mind and reading book 2 if the story gets much better. Both you and I think Tracy too are giving book 2 a go so depending on how you guys like it I might cave and check it out :)

Well I have all 3 ebooks & audios for the Killing Sarai story so I hope it ends up being a good one. I like JAR's writing so hopefully this one doesn't disappoint.
