Well, I've finally caught up on blog reviews and got to read Lover At Last, so I think I'll grab up Finnikin of the Rock (Lumatere Chronicles, #1) by Melina Marchetta since everyone's raving about this series!

Oh, wow, this is an $8 ebook...okay, I'm buying the paperback since it's almost the same price. Grrr.

Bridget | 1517 comments Finished Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss, #1) by Stephanie Perkins and it was good. Not as good as everyone else seemed to think. Maybe it was the female mc. She was kind of whiny to me. But still good overall.

I hear a lot of hubbla about this but I really haven't had the desire to read it. Glad I didn't now.

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments You know these buddy reads are great cause I kind of have an order to read and then I don't have to try to figure out what I'm in the mood for since I feel obligated to participate lol it helps, now I'm out of what to read, I could read book 2 in the Psy changeling series, but I really wish it was still Sascha and Lucas, there's so much that could be explored there, but even so having the story continue with another couple is nice too. Ho hum.

Almost done with In This Moment by Autumn Doughton , which I'm a huge fan of this author. I love her writing and her characters. This is a great story with wonderful characters. Can't wait to see how it ends.

Also started The Resolution of Callie & Kayden (The Coincidence, #6) by Jessica Sorensen .So glad to be back with these two!! Love this series!

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments Okay so I finished Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling, #1) by Nalini Singh and I struggled with it for the most part. I think I just don't care for this author's writing. Oh well at least I tried both of her series. I did like this one better than her Guild Hunters series so there's that. Next I think I'm going to start Just Remember to Breathe (Thompson Sisters, #2) by Charles Sheehan-Miles for our Mod RC since I've been wanting to read it for a long time :)

That's what I'm affraid of. For a historical fiction lots of people enjoyed it. I'm quite familiar with Russian history and Imperial court. Especially with Ekaterina II, I like people I share name with. :D I would hate her story to be next The Selection. But it's to intriguing to pass up.

Then you'll probably like it. Just keep in mind it's a fictional retelling kind of book. I didn't know anything of that history, so it was harder for me to understand. I liked the writing and the story, but I needed more history to really understand it.

It's slow for me Belkis. I like it OK but it's not thrilling like I thought it would be. I didn't like the first one from the Dark Hunter series either so there may be hope. I will try the second one and see how it goes.

Ahuh! I've been ranting about this FOREVER! It's a virtual book for petes sake! I can understand a printed book, hello, that requires paper, ink, printing, binding, shipping, packages, etc. But an ebook?! I know it's the writer's work and rightfully should charge but come on! Some ebook prices are too high.
