Laura (llbasaldua) | 790 comments Wow this thread moves fast in a few days time.

Ok so I finished Making Faces by Amy Harmon liked it BUT I think religion and religious views have no place in books so that took away from the book for me. Not against religion just wish I had known there was so much in this book.

Also finished Take Me On (Pushing the Limits, #4) by Katie McGarry really liked it also.

Also listened to Sanctum (Guards of the Shadowlands, #1) by Sarah Fine really liked it and Fractured (Guards of the Shadowlands, #2) by Sarah Fine cant wait for Chaos (Guards of the Shadowlands #3) by Sarah Fine !! Such a good series!

started Ruin (Ruin, #1) by Rachel Van Dyken (Liked) at 4pm yesterday and Perfect Chemistry (Perfect Chemistry, #1) by Simone Elkeles (it was ok) right after finished them this morning at 4am !!

and Now Im starting Jane's Harmony (Jane's Melody, #2) by Ryan Winfield

and then I think The Queen of Zombie Hearts (White Rabbit Chronicles, #3) by Gena Showalter

and most likey Tattoos and Tatas (Chocoholics, #2.5) by Tara Sivec all for a good cause!

Will be adding these to my never ending tbr for sure then Brooke. Do any if the characters from TDBU do any reappearances in book 2? Would love to see what happens aftereards for them all. Especially since we never get to find out who Matthew is and what happens with Caymen's grandparents. Need a little more of them :)

Yeah Tracy, I ended up liking it especially the second half of the story. I'll probably read the UY so I can find out what happens in their future plus it'll be in Jared's POV so I'll get to hear his side of the story and be filled in on the parts that Tate wasn't part of.

Take Me On (Pushing the Limits, #4) by Katie McGarry is my favorite book of this series so far! I'm looking forward to the new story of Echo and Noah, though they are not my favorite couple. I didn't even find it sweet or endearing or anything like that. I just found it blech. I didn't believe the romance. And I could not stand the MC. She was too judgmental for me. And the writing just wasn't good, IMO. Maybe this author's writing gets better. I will try something else from her, but I won't be reading this series.

message 9890: by Victoria (new)

Victoria | 259 comments I am reading Sinner (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #4) by Maggie Stiefvater because I was completely unaware that it was a companion book to the Shiver series. I have never read the Shiver series, but I am actually enjoying this book very much. It has very little to do with wolves, it reads more like a contemporary, with Cole trying to start a new life drug free and reinvent himself so the he can win back Isabelle, but he finds that it is hard to make people see you differently and gain trust, and he has some struggles- the side characters are almost more interesting than the main ones, but maybe that is because I don't have any history with them, like readers of the trilogy would- either way- it is a good quick read.. I am enjoying Cole :D

Read them! I just read the novella today. It was fantastic. You can read it first, or after, doesn't matter. Although it does give you a bit of background for Micah. Stokes knows what's she doing. I just loaded an ARC of her next book. I can't wait to break into it!

Maybe try the Amazon unlimited trial offer to see if it's something you'd like Heather. Here's the US link for the 30 day trial offer https://www.amazon.com/Kindle-eBooks/...

It's a great way to find out if audios are for you :) plus, you get 30 days of unlimited ebooks to read and the option to add on audios for either free or really really cheap, like $1.99 or something like that. Even if you don't have a Kindle ereader you can still download the Kindle app and still benefit from the great offer and the app is free too. Plus if you end up liking the Kindle Unlimited, it's only $9.99 a month. For unlimited books. That's a win-win for sure LOL! I LOVE audio books :)
