Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Why is it after I read something it is so difficult for me to figure out what I want to read next? I'll read synopsises and be like yea this sounds ok, but I'm not sure I'm in the mood for it. This sounds good too or this sounds bad - in the sense I'm not interested right now. It's super annoying lol. I need to set up a list and just read from the list but even then I'm like I don't want to read that right now. Anyone else get this way?

Well maybe we should do a buddy read on it :D I wouldn't mind a reread of it and it'd give me the perfect opportunity to listen to the audio version LOL! I can't believe this one was not on our Mod RC. Maybe since we kept it to 20 books a piece it got left out. But this one is awesome.

Neighbors from Hell #2 but then I think welllllll maybe I want to read a paranormal book like Phury's book but then I remember it kinda sucks but it's a book I need to read to get to the next one. I tried her Guild Hunters series by reading the first book in the series but couldn't get into it Salma. but she has the Psy-Changeling series too (I think that's the name of her other popular series) which I still want to try to see if I like it since her books are so popular. I'll have to add this new one to my tbr as well maybe I'll like it :)

These have been on my TBR shelf for a long time and I think it's because I can't get through the first one. This happened with me reading the Dark Hunters so I skipped it. May have to do that with this one as well.

I think some of those people do graphic novels or speed read or something. I have 209/210 goal for the year, I read almost a book a day but some books take longer, I'm a SAHM of one and just read when he is occupying himself. I personally have to read each word in my head, I can't speed read and retain what I'm reading. Though I can occasionally do that while I skim if I really want to get to the good stuff quickly. But yea I don't understand how you can do 700 in a year or already by this point.

I know I really do, but when the book is slow or lacks action or is boring I find myself having a difficult time to read it quickly. Ugh. I still haven't made up my mind one what I want to read. I think of the challenge and think of doing one of those but then I'm all like ehhh bleh.

Yeah, I can read a book a day if I have the time, and have gotten near 300 in the past, but not now that I work. They must be speed readers. Kinda jealous since my tbr is so huge LOL

That's just insane! I too do about a book a day since as you said some are longer and others shorter and I do both audios and ebooks but still, 700?! That's super fast! I had a 200 goal for the year too. I'm at like 208 and I'll probably finish around 300 like last year but still 700, that's huge.

I haven't reached 100 yet this year, I've been so busy. It's driving me nuts! I think I've bought more books this year than I have read.

I like to clean out my tbrs so I don't have books crowing it that I'm no longer interested in or just don't feel like reading any more. I'm trying to not add more unless it's from part of a series and even then I typically add them when I'm going to read them because some series I just end up not liking or get frustrated with like TMI
