Really? You're the first person to say that! I guess it's all a matter of preference though!

The reason for the extra POVs is that the story is getting bigger...it's not just in the castle anymore, it's all over Erilea and Wendlyn so and we need those extra POVs to keep us in the loop

Personally I really enjoyed getting to see some of the other places in the ToG world and meeting new characters, I can't wait to see how Maas brings all these different plots together

Ash, thanks for the explanation. I'm one of those people who gets attached to the main characters and want more of them. I generally avoid books with so many storylines and I know that it'll all get tied together at the end. I don't mind side characters but I don't necessarily need their POV.
I like new characters like Rowan but I don't care much for the witches or the healer so far. I will keep reading:)

I think the witches will be very important in future books. I enjoyed this POV enough, but I had a bit of a harder time with it b/c it wasn't giving me what I needed in regards to being important to this story line. But I guess she had to introduce them somewhere

That's exactly how I felt about the witches storyLine too Brooke. I didn't love it but enjoyed it enough and found it somewhat interesting especially knowing that all of it will be important to the overall story in the future books.

I'll probably try and read this one for our Mod RC too Tracy. I've been sort of debating whether to read it or not for a while so I figure our RC would be the right opportunity. This is one that has a lot of mixed feelings.

Its pretty good, I would recommend giving it a try but I can definitely see why there are mixed feelings. It reminds me a lot of Ashton and Beau from The Vincent Boys.

I think you would like this one, Belkis. Its short though, so keep that in mind. Almost short enough to qualify as a novella. I generally think of novellas as 150 pg or less. Breeder is 200.

I agree that Jared's behavior didn't make sense at all from an adult perspective, however I did think it seemed consistent with his characterization as a troubled teen.
