Let me know how you like Possess Kate. I have it in my kindle. Wondering if it's something I'll enjoy since it seems a little spooky and I'm a complete chicken when it comes to scary stuff LOL!

I really liked MBA series, Kate. I think it's pretty different than Twilight, and actually, I like it more. Enjoy.

Finally finished Point of Retreat (Slammed, #2) by Colleen Hoover . it was slow for me. It did get better the last 25% or so. But I still don't think it's her best stuff. Wondering if I should bother with This Girl (Slammed, #3) by Colleen Hoover . Thoughts?

message 8565: by sheena may (new)

sheena may (sheenamay) | 4 comments just finished The Vanishing Season and The Ocean at the End of the Lane, both were just really amazing imo.

i randomly picked up Sea of Shadows at the library this past week and started it today. so far, so good!

I only went on to this one because I thought it might be better. But I wasn't thrilled with it. It's amazing the difference between her writing in these and then Hopeless. Like she's a different person (although her underlying stuff is definitely embedded in these).

Slammed was my first Hoover book and I thought it was the best thing ever written at the time. POR was just as good, but I never got around to Will's POV. I'm always weary of the switch POV books. Most of the time there's nothing new added.

OMG Bridget you HAVE TO READ it. Promise promise it's so worth it. I loved loved Will's POV and there's extra awesome stuff in it too. Read it, you're going to love it if as me you love Slammed. I have them in both print and audio and they're both fantastic. As I said I reread this trilogy at least once a year. I absolutely loved This Girl *sigh sigh, Will, sigh*
