Seriously, Tracy, I think you'll be surprised at what you read. Holder's POV is just as heartbreaking as Sky's. It was great to see his emotions. And the book starts a year before, with Less' death. So it's really so much more than what you think you're going to get.

Finished Opposition (Lux, #5) by Jennifer L. Armentrout . I gave it a 4 for now, but will probably bring it down 1/2 a star if I keep thinking about it. I love this series, but I think 5 books was too much and I missed some of the spunk I got from the first three books in the series. Not sure what I'm going to read next. I need to do a beta and finish those two other dystopians that are dragging for me.

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Hey hey hey I'm back, the concert was AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME, no one for my show really cared for Rihanna though. I also got my first tattoo, a backward E (seen in eminem's name) on my wrist to commemorate my first eminem concert with my first tattoo with getting the exact same tattoo with my sister. So that was awesome. I also got a phone call yesterday while I was still in Cali that I WON A KINDLE FIRE HD!!!!!!!! From the library for the summer reading program!! I guess your name gets entered in a drawing!! Awesome awesome awesome! Super excited, but it's about a 30min drive or so so I'll be picking it up on Wednesday so sad face there. I am still reading Beneath a Rising Moon by Keri Arthur in book form, I didn't get to read on the plane at all yesterday because the guy who I was sitting next to was also at the concert on Thursday so we were chatting that up, and then I found out he's a book reader and proceeded to tell him to read Kate Daniels and Charley Davidson lol. Now I've got a cold with a sore throat, dang traveling!! Otherwise it was an awesome 3 day trip!

By halfway through I'd figured it all out. There was one bit that I didn't see coming, and it's not something I EVER read about (apart from The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold and I think I skippedc that bit), so probably wouldn't have read on if I'd known. I don't think I understand I've read The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold but to me it didn't remind me of that at all. I love paranormal and that's what this makes me think, but I guess I didn't have any expectations going in...idk I liked the book though, I didn't see where it was going. Sure some parts were sort of predictable, but my goal while reading is to try to predict what will happen and if I can't I call that a successful book, because I usually can, anyways for this one I totally did not see that end coming and I didn't really understand what was going on as to why this sort of stuff happened, still don't know either lol. I guess that's why I like it.

These are distinctions that some authors make and that I like to adhere to since I strictly read only romance.

Romance novels are focused on two people falling in love and living happily ever after.

Love stories are about people that come into each other's lives when they were needed, help each other through something, then go their separate ways or have "some other seperation". A Fault in Our Stars, (500) Days of Summer, and Dawson's Creek would be 'love stories'.
