I was so going to DNF, but I was 50% in and I figured I would give it more of a shot. Now I'm at 70% and I don't want to not finish it. But it's killing me b/c not only is the story a copy, IMO, but the writing is really not up to par with what I expect of this kind of book.

OK what you need to do is grit your teeth but try not to break them and speed read through it then trow it out the window when you get it done. I want to throw a tantrum when that happens.

Donna | 1350 comments Finished Caught Up in Us (Caught Up In Love, #1) by Lauren Blakely & thought it was cute. Also finished Beck (Corps Security, #3) by Harper Sloan - it totally didn't end the way I expected it to! Now I'm gonna have to read Cooper soon! I think now I'm going to read either Unraveled (Woodlands, #3) by Jen Frederick or For You (The 'Burg, #1) by Kristen Ashley .

Nicole Just finished Champion (Legend, #3) by Marie Lu . Not sure how I feel about the ending. It would have been good to have a second epilogue 5 years later.

Just started The 5th Wave (The Fifth Wave, #1) by Rick Yancey .

Beck was awesome - there was a lot of aggravation going on in that book.

But trust me = Cooper will make your jaw drop. Everything you expect, everything you believe...well it ain't necessarily so.

78% done with Finding It (Losing It, #3) by Cora Carmack and I have to say that this book is just not as well written as the other two. I feel like it's rushed and there's a lot of telling about what they are doing but now showing. Disappointing. I had heard people didn't like the third one, guess I should have listened!

Teresa | 606 comments So The Morganville Vampires, Volume 1 (The Morganville Vampires, #1-2) by Rachel Caine wound up being a DNF for me. I started The Raven Boys (The Raven Cycle, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater and so far I really like it.

Finished Seeking Her (Losing It, #3.5) by Cora Carmack and while I'm glad to have Hunt's POV, I still think it would have been better to have it in the actual book. Now I'm trying out Perfect Chemistry (Perfect Chemistry, #1) by Simone Elkeles . So far it's just ok. I'm not loving the writing. I'm about 7% in so we'll see where it goes.
