Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments And speaking a little on series that are still going, I saw that A Shade of Vampire is still not done? I keep piling up the books so I can go back and finish reading the series once they're all out but it doesn't look like it's going to be wrapping up by book 5 or 6 as expected. Sigh... I mean I don't mind long series, lord knows my favorite PNR's are over 8 books, some over 10 and I LOVE them and wouldn't mind if they went on forever LOL! But in these cases, each book in the series is centered around a different couple so it's sort of okay because you're not left dangling forever on hold for the resolution to a particular plot or storyline involving specific characters, you know?? Some series just get prolonged for the sake of sales and in the process they sacrifice the story. So I see that A Shade of Vampire is up to book #7 A Break of Day (A Shade of Vampire #7) by Bella Forrest now. I really need to know if Derek & Sophia will finally get their HEA :) I guess I'll continue to wait.

Hey Stacie, so let me see if I can help you with getting A Shade of Vampire so you can read it in iBooks. You're reading using your iPad right? So, if you download the free Kindle app onto your iPad, you can then buy it on Amazon and read open it on your iPad using the kindle app. I do it all the time :) Hope this helps and let me know if you have questions.

You want The Hunger Games and Divergent put together? Yeah, this is the book Extraction (Extraction, #1) by Stephanie Diaz that takes the two and puts all their elements together and tries to make it it's own. Doesn't work, not in the least. 50% in and I just feel like the author has stolen parts from these books and tried to make them her own. It's weird.

It's fantastic Andrea. I love the way this author writes. She manages to infuse newness to many paranormal aspects that have been done keeping them interesting. And her characters are so well developed and richly layered. Honestly one of my favorite authors. Hands down. I've read and loved everything she's written. Stuck reading more Entangled romances again this week. I have a love-hate relationship with these things. Yeah, they're sexy and usually decently written, but they are ALL starting to seem like the same author has written them and the same basic premise is repeating. I read Falling for the Groomsman (Wedding Dare, #1) by Diane Alberts and it was pretty good, now Baiting the Maid of Honor (Wedding Dare, #2) by Tessa Bailey , the same cast of characters but about a different couple. Not bad, but I'm going to need a switch-up before I go batty!
