Finished Stone Cold Touch (The Dark Elements, #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout finally. I didn't find it as engrossing as the first one for sure (as you can see by how long it took me to finish it). Shame, really. I gave it a 4, but I think I might drop it to a three. We shall see. I'll let it sit for a few day.

I looooved that book. Perfect ending to the series.

I do that too, but I've figured out if I'm just not into it to reshelve and try again later. Sometimes you're just not in the mood for that writing style, character, setting, plot etc.

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments I decided to read How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf (Naked Werewolf, #1) by Molly Harper half way through nothing really romantic has happened but I am almost half way through so I suspect in this chapter it'll be coming.

Tasha | 207 comments I finished Slated (Slated, #1) by Teri Terry , and wow, it was good! It was nice to see an English book that didn't sound American, that seems to be pretty rare these days. I have to wait until this evening to borrow the others from a friend, sob! Shall have to make do with Ill Wind (Weather Warden, #1) by Rachel Caine in the meantime. Been wanting to read it for ages so hopefully it lives up to my Morganville Vampires expectations!

It was wonderful! CC knows how to end a series, plant a new one and try to keep everyone happy. I was happy to see old friends (from Infernal Devices) and meet new friends (Emma and Jules) and see such happy endings for all our TMI friends. It was a love-fest!

I liked Slated enough but wasn't thrilled by it. I met her a while back when she was visiting America. I do have the others but haven't gotten to them yet.

I thought it was mediocre, she could have made it so much better. And also, I think since I've been reading Game of Thrones, I don't really like predictable books, where I know what's gonna happen, and also I like stories where people die, or have the ability to die and stay dead.

Very true Danielle. I'm thinking of reattempting some that I didn't like when I tried them the first time in the hopes that I just wasn't in the mood for them. Especially ones that other readers here in in our group have enjoyed. If I still don't care of them the second time around then I'll give up and call it a day.

And again Danielle, I love your inner musing LOL! You just put a smile on my face :) but seriously, I know what you're saying. It's so hard to pick what to read next sometimes especially when our TBR is miles long hahahaha! My problem isn't so much what I'm in the mood for, but the fact that I want to read so many of them next that I have a tough time choosing. Especially while also trying to complete various monthly challenges. I try and organize my reading shelves by how urgently I want to read them. This makes it a little easier.

I agree! Best book in the series so far! Ultraviolet, I was surprised to actually like it. but like I said, I liked the second book more. It's from Tori's POV.

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments You know what I hate when I add a book and it duplicates in my shelves 3x!! Why does this happen? I only just added a book today and it shows up 3x...I don't understand, but I feel like it throws my count off.

Yeah a little lackluster for me too Tiana by comparison to BD. I rated 4 stars but it's more like 3.5 really. Wish GR would give us .5 star ratings. We really need it.

Reading Broken Visions (Shattered Promises, #3) by Jessica Sorensen and it's really not holding my interest. Gemma is like a broken record of "we can't be together, *sob*" in this one, I want to slap some sense into her! There's actually some plot starting up now, so I'm crossing my fingers it gets better.

Next up (hopefully soon!!) is Falling for the Groomsman (Wedding Dare, #1) by Diane Alberts and Baiting the Maid of Honor (Wedding Dare, #2) by Tessa Bailey .

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments I started Waking the Beast (Awakening Pride, #1) by Lacey Thorn so far it's interesting, but it's told in past and present pov which can get annoying. But past is in journal form so it's not terrible.
