Ha, yeah, SitD is the most gut-wrenching book I've ever read. Actually had me shaking in anger and bawling in tears at some sections, to the point I had to stop for a breather. CJ outdid herself!

Seriously jonesing for a great YA read soon. The only one on my currently reading list right now is Sweet Reckoning (The Sweet Trilogy, #3) by Wendy Higgins which I am STILL crawling through because blog review contemp reads keep getting in the way. Grr. Just finished Reisz's first book in the White Years series The Saint (The Original Sinners White Years, #1) by Tiffany Reisz , which I enjoyed but I shouldn't have skipped over the Red Years books because it gave a plot twist away for me that was really disappointing. Bummed but at least I can tack this one on the monthly reading theme!! =)

Next up The Request (The Request, #1) by Marquita Valentine and The Damsel and the Daggerman (Blud, #2.5) by Delilah S. Dawson for review because they're quick reads and I want to get on to one on my personal 'must read' list ASAP!

message 5857: by Tasha (new)

Tasha | 207 comments Finished Entangled by Cat Clarke and was seriously disappointed. I try and avoid stories about self-harm anyway, and I had no idea that was what the book was about, but it was made so flat, there was hardly any emotion in it at all. Anyone else read it and been let down?
Moving onto Insatiable (Insatiable, #1) by Meg Cabot , hopefully some awesome vampires will lify my book spirits up

Yay! you like BD Hannah :) Oh and I need to read The One too. We did a buddy read for The Elite and it left me very intrigued for the next and final book so I'm hoping it's a very good read.

I haven't read Entangled but have it in my TBR though. But now that you read it and weren't thrilled by it I'll probably not really bother with it, so thank you for saving me the time and disappointment Tasha. Please keep us posted on how you find Insatiable. This is another one I have in my TBR and would like you thoughts on it when you're done.

Oh Erin I plan on reading The Saint as soon as I can. Love The Original Sinners series so much. I also still need to read The Mistress Files (The Original Sinners, #3.5) by Tiffany Reisz Scars and Stripes (The Last Good Knight, #1) by Tiffany Reisz The Last Good Night (The Last Good Knight, #5) by Tiffany Reisz The Games Destiny Plays (The Last Good Knight, #3) by Tiffany Reisz Sore Spots (The Last Good Knight, #2) by Tiffany Reisz Fit to Be Tied (The Last Good Knight, #4) by Tiffany Reisz so that I don't miss anything or spoil the story in any way :)

Victoria | 259 comments I finished up Into the Still Blue (Under the Never Sky, #3) by Veronica Rossi and loved it, such a good ending. I had a couple minor issues with things, but overall it was really good, I have followed this series since the very beginning so I am going to miss these characters and stories. I am now reading The Winner's Curse (The Winner's Trilogy, #1) by Marie Rutkoski because it has been on TBR and the library just happened to get it in and I have connections there so I was able to get it right away, so far it is good, but I am only a few chapters in so we shall see. :)

I loved Hopeless. I wasn't as into Finding Hope, it wasn't that it was bad, I think I just liked not being in his head and kind of imagining what he was like instead of hearing all his thoughts.. but that is just me, I have felt that way about several books- Allegiant was the same way, I didn't like being in Tobias' head, it lost something for me, I liked my imagined version better. :)

After finishing Hopeless (Hopeless, #1) by Colleen Hoover yesterday, I had to jump right into Losing Hope (Hopeless, #2) by Colleen Hoover . First off, I f'ing LOVE Holder. Yup, he's my new boyfriend. Secondly, I love how Hoover did this book, unlike the story being told exactly the same but from different POV, she really infuses others stuff into it. I can't way to see how it pans out. Thirdly, I am going to be SOOOOO disappointed when I'm done!
