Jake and Nina's story I liked the best. Though I never read Allison and Cedric's

Nicole I went with a slightly lighter and more fun option than Belkis for my last read :)
The Cinderella Moment by Jennifer Kloester . If you can't tell from the title it is a modern retelling of Cinderella, set in Paris.

It was very predictible (even if you are not aware of the story of Cinderella). However, I still found myself wanting to know what happens next. It was really fun and easy to read too, which I needed after Feed (Newsflesh Trilogy, #1) by Mira Grant .

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Finished My Skylar (Gemini, #3) by Penelope Ward it's good just not as good as Jake and. Nina's story in the sense that almost EVERY time they try to get together something gets in their way, drove me nuts, but the book is still a good read.

Yeah, VA is superb!!! FCH...not so much. It was a 3 star read for me. Just meh. Have no interest in continuing. Too many books are coming out soon, so I don't want to waste more time. I was hoping to love it. :/

Wow Laura, you really got through a load of books! We've missed you and so glad to have you pop in. Will definitely be adding The Mad Scientist's Daughter to my TBR and need to get back to reading the London Steampunk series sin I truly enjoyed the first book. Also need to read Passions And Ponies, love that Chocoholics series. Really liked A Different Blue by Amy Harmon and basically plan on reading all of her books. We just finished a buddy read for Ruin And Rising and loved it. Perfect ending to a wonderful trilogy so hoping you enjoy it as much as we did. Still need to read the Consequences series but there are still books being released for it so I might just wait until all of them are out before starting them since I have a ton of books I want/need to read anyway :)

Listening to Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1) by Laini Taylor , love the narrator. She has such a passionate and expressive voice. I am loving it this time around, as opposed to the last 3 times of trying to read it and only getting several chapters in and giving up. We'll see.

Oh Annie I'm so glad you loved Shadow And Bone! Such a great trilogy. And yay! You're also enjoying Daughter Of Smoke And Bone. I love both these trilogies so much. And yes the narrator for DoSaB is very good I read the first 2 books because they weren't on audio when the first came out but I was able to get the third one on audio and the narration was great. Same case with The Grisha trilogy, read the first book but was able to get audios for the last 2 and the narrator was great.

I wasn't as thrilled with this as everyone else was. I liked it enough. It's a pretty good story. I felt it dragged a bit in places. The second one totally annoyed me b/c it's the story from the male's POV. Not so bad except there are barely any differences between that and the first one, so it wasn't like I was reading a new story as he saw it.
