Donna | 1350 comments I've been absent for awhile for a variety of reasons. I guess the primary reason is cause I popped out a child. (Hello world!) so I've had a few things to do. But as most of you know, sleeping isn't one of them. So I've read... Omg Belkis. I'm an Elizabeth Hunter nut now. I don't think I've been this in love with an author since T. Mafi! Just finished Baojia & Natalies story in Blood and Sand (Elemental World, #2) by Elizabeth Hunter . L.O.V.E. I just love their story! Please tell me she's continuing with this series? What about Ben? Tenzin? Deirdre? It can't end!! **pulling my hair in frustration** I'm onto The Bronze Blade (Elemental World #2.5) by Elizabeth Hunter while also reading A Little Too Much (A Little Too Far, #2) by Lisa Desrochers .

Thanks Erin! I think I might do as you did then and just start with JU and skip book 1 for now too. JU has tons of great reviews and it's t he one that I've had my eye on for a while without even realizing that it was book 2 to Gemini. Moving JU to my ASAP shelf :)

YAY Donna!! First of all OMGOMGOMG CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW BABY!! WOW! That's so wonderful. Children are such a blessing :) and yeah, you're pretty much not going to be getting much sleep for the first few months, but SO worth it. And YAY! you're an Elizabeth Hunter obsessed fan now too!! See?! Told you LOL! She's freaking fantastic! And yes, I stalk her website a lot and she's planning on continuing with EM in future. But as she says, the stories and characters have to speak to her and move her to tell their story :) for now she's writing the next book in her Cambio Springs series, another PNR which is also really good (of course hahahaha) I've read it and fallen in love with it as well (big surprise there right?) the prequel novella Long Ride Home A Cambio Springs Short Story (Cambio Springs #0.5) by Elizabeth Hunter to it had me falling so hard for it while in tears that I started book 1 Shifting Dreams (Cambio Springs, #1) by Elizabeth Hunter as soon as it released and was completely smitten by the end. Wonderful characters and again, a nice and unique take on shifters in case you want to give it a try. For me it's not even a question now, ever. If EH wrote it, I'm reading it. Same as anything Colleen Hoover. Automatic must reads for me. I think you said you've read The Genius and the Muse by EH too, so you know how much LOVE I feel for that book. Strongly recommend to anyone wanting an amazing contemporary story :) So happy to have you back in our discussions Donna, and again SO HAPPY FOR YOU and your new baby!!!

Such an interesting writing style and narratives and premise, cannot gush enough over These Broken Stars, honestly. Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments So I picked up Rome (Marked Men, #3) by Jay Crownover but haven't even started it yet. I'm so stressed out, we just got our notice that we need to find a new place, and it's going to be rather difficult with some of the requirements and being unprepared for moving costs and expenses plus summers are brutal for us as my boyfriend is a drum teacher so his students go on vacation. Ugh so I've been looking at craigslist and zillow and I just wanna read. I'm also wanting to read something else I'm still in my contemp mood but for tattoos and MC clubs lol.

Lol. Thanks Belkis! Yes- this is my 3rd girl, so I'm prepared to read lots while she's sleeping. Or not. ;)
Gosh! Just finished The Bronze Blade (Elemental World #2.5) by Elizabeth Hunter . Unreal. Just so sad how horrific Tenzins life has been. I know it's fiction, but it makes me glad that she's found her "new family" in Gio, B, Carwyn, Ben, etc. With that being said, I am definitely reading anything that she writes! Yes, just like my obsession with Colleen Hoover! (These ladies are amazing authors!) up next will be her Cambio series.

Me too! I saw it about this time last year and fell in love with the cover and the idea. I was waiting like crazy for it to be published, and when finally it came out I got cold feet. Most of the time my high hopes are crushed pretty soon and also I didn't know it was a standalone. I try to stay away from unfinished series and heartache (not that it's working out great for me.) Every time I opened my kindle there it was all pretty and whatnot and I gave in. Thank God I did. It was really wonderful journey and love both characters something fierce. The writing was so beautiful it stole my breath away. OMG, the second cover is gorgeous, I can't wait to get my hands on it.

I started, Sarah. I'm kind of disappointed. I expected little more from it. The writer spends so much time making sure we understand why they fell in love and how right it is, she doesn't take any risks and story looses feel of forbiddance. Compared to Unteachable this one is a child's play.

Yep finished two reapers last week and tried Bella's a couple books ago. I noticed none of the other MC club books seem to compare to Reapers, they are all fantasy like and not really explaining the club aspect, I kind of dig the club aspect and want to see more of the women interacting with the club while doing their love story you know ?

Movie definitely sucks.

Oh how wonderful Donna :) 3 princesses, so precious. And I agree about Tenzin's poor brutal life when she was human. All her loses are so sad. My heart kept breaking and crying for her. I desperately want her to finally get her HEA. So we'll have to be patient and wait it out to see if EH gives us another EM book soon. But in the meantime I'll patiently await the release of the next Cambio Springs book. And yay! You're going to read it :) so know we'll be able to discuss it and share feelings about it! Bextor The Way Home (Lights of Peril, #2) by A.C. Bextor Toxic (Lights of Peril, #3) by A.C.
