David's Stories (Currently, serialising a story called The Deadlands on Wattpad)

In any case, I think you might be disappointed with the direction I take it in, Frenchie. I don't want a drawn out chase/action sequence, and want to start exploring the settlement and the people there. I want to get more characters interacting and really kick-start the plot. I don't think action's my strong suit anyway, either.
I said on the site that I'm updating at least once a week, likely Mondays. Currently, I'm looking at adjusting that to Friday or Saturday, though I might post the third part soon, depending on when it gets finished. I'm simply trying to find the best time/day to post parts, for the most views. I haven't been satisfied with them currently.
And finally, Gus is now available to read on Wattpad. If you'd like to leave a review on Amazon or Goodreads for it, it'd very much be appreciated.

What you said about thinking I edited the story makes me wonder if I should add the books I've edited to my author page, as it'll be another way for people to notice me. But I haven't done so yet and may not. It's only like two other books anyway. I only really handled the technical editing too, as I'm not someone who touches the content.
Over the next few days, I'll be uploading my short stories that are for sale to Wattpad for what will likely be a limited amount of time. (Exclusive rights for Amazon end on the 12th and 14th, I believe, so that's when I'll be uploading them to Wattpad) If you do read them, please feel free to write a review or rate them on Goodreads. The only difference between the Wattpad versions and the Amazon ones will likely be the absence of afterwords, and maybe the flash fiction piece with The Dead Should Stay Dead.
Also, I wanted to share a link to a serial story I'm working on, which is currently posted on Wattpad and about 3,500 words long. It's free to read and I try to update at least once a week. It'll be for sale when it's completed, but I'm in it for the long haul.
It's a post-apocalyptic story with zombies in and a different race of humanoid creatures that serve as foes, though they'll fade into the background after the first episode as the focus will likely shift to the people and a small settlement.
Feedback is very much welcome, but I should state that, unless there's a really good reason, I won't be tweaking 'published' parts based on feedback (outside of making technical changes or adding a little bit of detail here and there that doesn't change the plot). That's the issue with serial stories really, it's pretty much set in stone once posted. I've already made tweaks to the first paragraph anyway based on feedback. So, mostly, I'll be using the feedback for future parts.
Hope you enjoy it and if you're a member of Wattpad, please do vote for each part if the votes are deserved. (Sorry I can't just post it here, but at least non-members can read there.)
