Haha. Sorry I'll change that in case it's confusing :P Anyways, in Sg that's how the date format is written :)
Me too. I think that's one thing I dislike about Mary. Clearly, she wants Travis but she also wants Harry.
Travis is more adventurous though but he left Cass for Mary even though they were already betrothed.
And Cass fell for Harry in the short time they spent together.. but Harry still chose Mary. I wonder why.. I think I will be on team Harry, but things might change. :D
But even before that, Travis was very indecisive. He did not make a proper decision - he claimed he would come for Mary but he later got together with Cass :(
How about Harry? :DHe's kind of confusing. At first he said he wanted her but then when she got sent to the Sisterhood he didn't do anything.
It was only after a while when he again stated he wanted her.
I know! The brewing love story is much more complicated than the idea of the Outside and the Unconsecrated! I just have this weird feeling that Harry will turn out to be a good man. :D Gaaaaaaahhh. I really don't know! Let's hope for the best. :p
Which part are you on now?

Yeap probably. :D I think that Mary will explore on her own & perhaps Travis might come with her. That's just a guess :P

Haha. IKR! There seem to be much confusion. :P
I'm on chptr 12 :)
Hmmm how about Cass then? If she claimed she was in love with Harry & not Travis, then why didn't she agree to Mary's suggestion of swapping husbands-to-be? What do you think is her motive? Is she just jealous of Mary?

I think Cass is afraid to be left alone or insecure with Mary.
:D Okay!Hmmm I like the literary writing. There's a lot of good description and the setting is really dark & mysterious :)

I think that's most probably the case. :P I wonder what will happen to Cass next.
Btw, what do you think of Gabrielle? She just comes in the story & there's a really mysterious and creepy vibe about her :P

It kinda reminds me of
. The writing is dark, beautiful and gothic. I can easily imagine myself into that world. And it's creepy.

But I have no idea yet why she's faster than the other Undead.
:) IKR! This book's setting is really eerie & lonely. It's like they're all trapped in one area and there's no other living thing out there (or so they thought).

with all the walls and fences. :D

I think she knows something important that's why the Sister threw her out. To keep her from passing the knowledge to the people inside.
The fact that she came from the gate means there's hope that Mary could explore the outside world!Heehee, I feel really excited :D

Me too! This book is very hard to put down.
Ooops sorry for the double message! ><I refreshed many times because once again Goodreads was over capacity :P
Haha IKR! Okay Mai, sorry in advance if I'm going to be late in replying. I'll come back online soon - off to eat lunch :P

Hey I'm here! My computer and I are at odds so I haven't been able to post but I've started reading!
I just read the part where Harry decides to speak for Mary. I love it so far! I got really mad when I read that because now that he waited (and I think he did it a little out of guilt), she'll never be happy with him!

The whole love story's more complicated than the story itself. :p
Yes exactly! I have no idea why he would do that - he asked her to the Harvest Festival and she as good as said yes and then he just gave up on her and then he comes back expecting her to be grateful for him 'saving' her from the Sisterhood! The whole situation is messed up! I really like how the relationship are set up and it's not the normal love triangle though.
It's really descriptive but also really vague in a way. The author doesn't really elaborate on the emotions and the settings but some how that makes it better. You can infer from what she does write and I like this better than being spoon-fed the details because that's the beauty of a book (at least to me) - that you can imagine it all/most of it. What about you?
I agree with vague. I also like the atmosphere the author has created. I can feel the gloom, the desperation and the isolation. It's dark and gothic.i guess it's descriptive in a sense that there's very few dialogues between the characters. It's more of Mary's inner monologue or something.
I get that vibe as well. And it seems like their world has been sucked dry of emotion except for Mary. They're all about commitment which is pretty much they're only passion. Mary is the only one who wants more. That's the trait that most defines her to me and I think it'll lead her to interesting places because she is the only one willing to go.
