SOLVED. Story set in the future about a girl with psychic abilities [s]

This story was set pretty far in the future... Where they have walls they can change the color of or paint pattern of by turning a dial, and lipstick you inject into your lips instead of like we do now, and moving sidewalks everywhere so the need to walk places has been eradicated. It starts out withs young girl and her (mother? Parents? Not sure) and a friend on hers cleaning out the attic of their antique house... Meaning the house was built in late 1900's. She finds the diary of a girl while searching up there, and decides to take it and read it. Sometime after this, I don't know how long, she enters a study of people with psychic abilities and finds out she can move things with her mind, and by the end figures out that the people running the study are bad people and that she is in the study purposely so they can use her power to help them travel to the past so they can kill the girl in the diary she found in her attic, who turns out to be her sister. I would love to be able to remember more of it, but I can't.
