Finding Billy Battles

Ron Sensei:
Belated New Year's Greetings! 謹賀新年。開けましてお目出度うございます。今年も
どうぞ宜しくお願いします。
This is Yoshi. Is this a true story, or fiction based on your experience? I, myself is finishing on autobiography on my life and career. Since I have to show many facets of my design/invention/publishing graphic elements, I have to write it as iBook so
I can show animated images and even music (I haven't sent you my CD yet...)
How is very talented Nicole doing? Has she secured good job in Europe? May be I can
help her job in Japan... Many Japanese people want to study German in colleges or on personal bases, and she is bilingual so one more language 日本語 won't be that hard.
Since I will be 83 (whew) on April 15th (income tax deadline, and also Leonardo da Vinci's birth date), I found a genius graphic artist (only 20!) who is a daughter of the owners who run a delicious Taiwan cooking. She came from NY for Christmas and I showed her my best sellng "Inside Design, Where A Concept will Unhold" and other portfolio, she was very inspired and she calls me her mentor. This book was co-authored by the late Mort Goldscholl whom Nicole should be aware of.
Ron & Inge, I got some other news for you... NHK is making 90 min. documentary called "100 years in Tokyo in color." They started last January and should finish by
october this year. After the war, NBC came to Ginza and they taped my band playing
and I singing "Oh, My Darling, Clementine." NBC also filmed in Tokyo and made a clip
called "Japan has changed ニッポン ハ カワリマシタ" and aired it and I shot the
screen (with film, not digital) where our scene was on.
Ron, you were in Tokyo when major things happened such as Lockheed, Tokyo Rose Toguri-san, witnessed the first and the last day of Vietnam War, etc... Even still pix might NHK would like to use, I think.
Any way, I will send you E-mail and explain with photos to get my message across.
Will get in tough soon! Best Regards: Yoshi Sekiguchi
