Marianne (mariannemorea) | 37 comments My title, Hollow's End, is available in ebook at Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Apple, yet the only one showing up in the 'buy' drop down list is Amazon. There are other distribution channels listed that don't apply, but not Barnes & Noble or Apple.

How can I add these as I am running a sale and I want to make purchases easy for readers.

Sandra | 31478 comments Marianne, pretty sure that Librarians have nothing to do with this. Try contacting support.

Plethora (bookworm_r) | 359 comments I thought purchase links were set by each user to match their preferences.

Deborah Ledford (deborahjledford) | 41 comments Sandra, I'm having the same problem with books that have changed publishers. Could you instruct us how to contact "support"? Couldn't find anything from the "help" option.

Correct. Book links to other sites are customized on a per-user basis (each user chooses theirs), not a per-book basis. There is no way to to customize the links for a specific book.

As far as contacting support, that would be the Contact Us link on the Help page.

Sandra | 31478 comments Yes, I started to write that book users set the links, however, looking at Marianne's book, it is available at B&N but didn't show up as a link. Not sure why?

And as Rivka linked, support is available on every page by following the about us link at the bottom.

Probably because no ISBN exist for the ebook on the GR book data.

Because the default edition of the book has no ISBN, and the B&N link appears to be ISBN-dependent.

We can add the pseudo-ISBN B&N uses to that edition, if the author provides it. It would start with 294.

Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) | 6325 comments Just make sure all the editions are here with correct isbn, asin, bnid, etc. then they'll work for your readers. If any trouble or if you need help, just post the edition information here and a librarian will help add and combine all the editions of your work.

Every member of goodreads can customize their own middle "get a copy" purchase button (and the far right non-purchase button for libraries and such; the first button is a sponsored ad/link).

To get your own middle purchase button the way you want it, edit your profile and go to the "book links" tab. Re-order the commercial links, delete unwanted ones, add ones you want that are not currently showing (you may need to change country near top right to get the right list to choose from; I know for U.S. that both Barnes and Noble and Smashwords are existing choices you can just select versus customizing). If you don't see a wanted link, for example to your local indie brick and mortar bookseller, you can add it. Just make sure that you are linking to the store page that searches for isbn numbers, check that it is commercial if you want it under the middle button or leave unchecked to put it in with libraries and other sites under the last button).

Every member on goodreads potentially will have completely different choices under those green get a copy buttons.
