SOLVED. Young boy has control over the elements, story about a demonic knife/dagger [s]

Read in the early 90s. The boy hooks up with others with special powers; a lady is a fantastic archer, a blind man can see with his thoughts, a young girl can create illusions in the minds of others.
Towards the end of the story:
