3 ways to improve the group:
*Perhaps there can be a topic so every month if theres a holiday or special occasion, there can be a party for it. ex. Christmas party, Halloween party, birthday party for 'your name here', etc. just a way for all the characters to get along which is rare and it can be held by the witch

*maybe we can have a topic where people post storys or riddles for the group to read

*and last but not least, maybe there can be a topic for certain games to occupy people so they can post even if the person theyre rping with isnt here

Example of Roleplay: i am the last one to enter the dungeon before santu closes the door, sighing,"now get him out of your trance..." sharli smiles,"dont worry, at least his mind was easy, so nothing should be different." she snaps her fingers as i blink, thinking, w-what..? i drop down onto my knees, holding my painful head as i grunt,"what did you..." sharli sighs irritatedly,"shut up already. now.." she walks towards santu, smiling slyly,"now its time we become connected." santu smiles faintly, rubbing his neck as he whispers,"im sorry, but you have other plans." sharli blinks before looking back at me when i scream, my eyes a deep, dark red as all the lighting in the room explodes into darkness. with that, santu quickly gets out of the room, locking the dungeon door behind himself before he heads upstairs like nothings happening.

After that, i sit in the dungeon, holding my head, blood covering the walls, ceiling and floor, pieces of sharli scattered all over the place. i repeat to myself continuously,"monster monster monster." thinks thats what i am... covers my hands over my eyes, smearing the blood on my hands onto my face. i frown, looking over at the door, whispering,"dont ever open that door santu... you know its best to keep me down here... for akari's sake as well as everyone's elses..." santu packs his stuff into bags, looking down like he heard me and he whispers,"that was the plan.. because.. i know you will never betray her.. for you feel the same way i do about her.."

Okay this is so not a monarchy given if you read it does take place in the US not Europe and it is quite modern day.... Your last to ideas are crap give you clearly didn't read anything about the group. Otherwise you would understnad that it is a town called Argentumbra (SilverShadow) Washington, U.S.A.

3 ways to improve the group:

1) Something that's missing with most of these groups are characters that have actual plotlines behind them. I really think we should create more specific character roles long with the general characters to keep things going.

2) On that note, a character request topic would be awesome. I have a few ideas for characters already, and most require other characters to go along with them, such as important family members or people who have been cursed. This also helps with the issue of not having anyone to rp with.

3) Apart from separate stories, I feel like it would keep the group active if we reserved a thread to post events such as well-known people in a community being cursed, or an area being completely taken over by dark spirits, things like that. This would really help people stay on the same page with different threads.

✦ A bit...broad. (view spoiler)[ Despite the large amount of information you've given, the actual plot is a bit broad. There is not an extreme amount of stuff to work with, especially when it comes to making super involved and plot oriented characters. I think that there could be a better lay out of a plot that has opening in it for people to possibly make a character for. Im not saying make a specific spot down to the T for a character that needs to be made, but like a spot in the plot a character could be made. This way if the character is not made, the plot will not be hindered. But if it is made, the plot can be more so. (hide spoiler)]

✦ Flare...it lacks it. (view spoiler)[ I feel like I may have sort of already said this in some manner by now, but I'll say it more directly. When you invited me to this group, I looked it over vaguely and did not find any part of it catching my attention. This may sound harsh, but it is the truth. The second or third go round of reading over the month or ao Ive been in it, I finally started to see possibilities for the group. I think it's the fact everything is very...very dark that had me lost. I like dark roleplays, but I like there to be some light to ir as well. Currently, there is no light to this group. The town, in my mind, is this drab little place where people were dark, old pea coats, the wind is blowing chilled air, and even during the day time, it seems like dusk almost. The image it put in my mind drained the life out of me before I even immersed myself in it. Somehow, I think we can add some lighter aspects to the group so that it's not all graveyards and dead people while keeping the creepy vibe to it. (hide spoiler)]

As a child, Samantha was told the folktales of Argentumbra by her grandfather. The man got his kicks from seeing children terrified, so he would rattle on about the ghoul and ghosts that roamed the dimly lit streets during the night. Sam had always told herself that the tales told were just that: made up fairytales designed to scare kids and ultimately keep them in doors and out of trouble when the sunset. However, when she was a teen and had to endure walks home during nightfall from a friend's home or her small waitress job at a diner nearby her house, Sam could swear the shadows...moved. They would move every so slightly, some even seeming to follow her before vanishing. Just as grandpa had told the stories.

But before the terrors of Argentumbra managed to settle under Sam's skin in a deeper sense than just some old legend, the girl was off to college to study biology, more specifically to study genetics. Samantha was somewhat of an intellectual prodigy, though at times the simplest things would graze over the tops of her head. Logic and reason, those where her best friends. So when Samantha returned to Argentumbra for a visit a few years later and stumbled upon something her dear logic and reason could not put together, she stayed. Curiosity...the worst thing for a girl who feels the need to know and understand everything. It was who she was. Samantha was used to understanding everything, and what she found in Argentumbra? Well it simply made no sense.

"Doctor O'Brian?" the voice questioned from the doorway. Sam did not pull her eyes from the microscope, still adjusting the focus ever so slightly. There had been an incident. A childhood friend of Sam's, Heather, had went off the tracks so to speak, just like Heather's mother had years back. Many of the towns folk rumored that it must be a genetically craziness. Ah, genetics, something right up Sam's field. Before Heather's suicide, she had shown signs of insanity, most of which consisted of extreme paranoia, fear of the shadows, and muttering strange things to herself. Then came the self harming. Heather would claw at her own flesh, as if she was trying to dig something out from deep within. Not a day later, Heather was found dead and brought into the morgue where Sam got a hold of her.

"Not a doctor yet, Officer Church," Samantha said, a small smile creeping to her lips as she spoke. Glancing from the microscope, her gaze fell upon a Hollis Church. He was not a close friend to Sam, but he was the best friend of her older brother, and Sam couldnt help but reflect on how much the rebellious bad boy that was Hollis Church had changed during her leave. Now an officer of the law, wasn't that something? Her attention drifted back to her work as she waited for the man to make his reply. She could hear words being spoken, but could make none of them out as her mouth dropped slightly open at what she finally got to see in the blood sample taken from Heather. A genetical disease for insanity Sam's ass... This was something far different--unheard of even. And there it was, the curiosity spark that kept the kitten in town.

I am currently developing another group or two, so they are my main focus along side several rps i have going.
