ABANDONED. Fantasy? Hunters with powers

okay. i barely remember this book because i only downloaded the sample months ago but randomly had a dream about it. and the sample kind of left off a a cliff hanger kind of?

okay all i remember is these group of people there like hunters?
they are young and there are boys and girls
the head guy shows them a picture of this girl they must kill because shes bad?
hot guy totally thinks girl in pic is cute but she has to die
said girl in pic works at a diner she has no family or maybe a mom?
she somewhat totally innocent in a one way and we have no idea why anyone would want to kill her kinda thing..... the story then proceeds to this group of hunters i guess meeting the poor girl in the alley and try to kill her? they all have powers or some kind of magic voo doo that allows them to fight and do things that are clearly not humanly possible. but anyways that is all i pretty much remember.
i know that is not much but any help would be appreciated!!
