Kerstin | 862 comments Yay! I'm getting really excited now.

Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 9661 comments The audiobook is really good too.

message 205: by Kerstin (new)

Kerstin | 862 comments I've only ever tried one audio book a couple of years ago and it didn't quite work for me. I've thought for a while about giving it another try, as it may have just been that particular one. I've heard good things about the Harry Dresden audio books as well...
Are you using Audible.com? My library doesn't have a great selection so I'm thinking about alternatives...

Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 9661 comments I use library audiobooks but it's true that the selection is slim. I've never used audible aside from the occasionnal freebie si I can't help on the matter.

message 207: by Kerstin (new)

Kerstin, have you registered for Sync's summer audio book downloads? Every summer Sync audio has 2 free audio book downloads a week - a young adult book and a classic along a similar theme. There's some pretty good picks up for this year and even if you don't recognize the title/author, I would suggest that you download the book anyway. I've discovered some real gems that way. The link is http://www.audiobooksync.com/ and the downloads start around mid-May.

I'm reading this right now too. It's fun and entertaining. Better than book 2 to me so far.

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments Sandra wrote: "It's such a beautiful cover :)"

:) I like all of the covers in that series.

Read: Ignite Me (Shatter Me, #3) by Tahereh Mafi Blessed (Tantalize, #3) by Cynthia Leitich Smith

And, tried to read Blood Oranges (Siobhan Quinn, #1) by Kathleen Tierney but had to put it on hold for a bit. The snarkiness was cool in the beginning, but by 30% I was over it.

Just discovered today that the third book is not released until May 2nd in the UK
groan, even longer wait.

Sandra | 25908 comments Yeah, its annoying. Found out yesterday that BD is releasing Bite Me (Pride, #9) by Shelly Laurenston in May instead of March, as well :(((

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments That sucks, Lee. Least it's only (I say that lightly b/c I know any add'l waiting sucks) 15 days longer than the US.

I read the free short Bitter Sweet Love (The Dark Elements, #0.5) by Jennifer L. Armentrout . Jennifer Armentrout is a pretty prolific author - seems she always has a new series out. This is only the 2nd book of her's I've read - the first was Obsidian Lux#1 - and, I think I like this one (with gargoyles and demons vs. aliens) a bit more.

message 221: by [deleted user] (new)

Finished The Eye of God (Sigma Force #9) by James Rollins Magic to the Bone (Allie Beckstrom, #1) by Devon Monk Burden by Lila Felix Eternal Pleasure (Gods of the Night, #1) by Nina Bangs Warprize (Chronicles of the Warlands, #1) by Elizabeth Vaughan

All these books were good. Now, I'm not sure what to read next.

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments How'd ya like Burden by Lila Felix , Preethi? I was pleasantly surprised. It was a bit ... sweeter? than I'd expected, but I was immediately sucked in and read it rather quickly. I liked that the shifters were bears.

I've got some of the Sylph books TBR also. Guess I should move it up on my list. :)

I'm listening to No Rest for the Wicked (Immortals After Dark, #3) by Kresley Cole

I was surprised to find that I liked the book a lot too. Sweet is exactly how I would describe it too, but I kind of liked that. I didn't realise the second book was not yet out- I wanted to read the next book as soon as I finished it. I enjoyed it a lot:)

wondered this myself, but I am like you staying away from the threads. All I know is that after Wild Things(4th Feb), there is another book Blood Games (August release). Once I have read Wild Things I will look into it. I have it on order but this is the UK and its turning into a forever wait.

Just looked and its going to 13 books
