Currently Reading [2014]

Stolen - Kelley Armstrong (will continue later)
---------------------------------------
Picked up a freebie on Amazon now I have a kindle app on my PC
so todays read was
Her Dark Angel - Felicity Heaton
---------------------------------------------------------
Another Amazon freebie and a very unlikely choice for as I am far from being a Mills & Boon fan , but this had my curiosity peaked a vampire book from them ? I admit I laughed at the idea and snagged this as it was free just to see what a vampire/werewolf book Mills & Boon style could possibly be like. Well I hold my hands up and admit its excellent so far and will be less skittish in future. So far it has been a very good read.
Her Vampire Husband - Michelle Hauf (Mills & Boon)
------------------------------------------------------------
.

But the books well written, the plots good, the characters are very likeable, good humour dotted about in it.I cannot put it down. Its like I have to know how all this pans out.
Truly as you say I have indeed been stolen and kidnapped to the dark side
now I am ROFL and shaking my head in disbelief of it all.
OK I challenge you go grab a free copy yourself like me and see if you get hooked like I have, I blame this group they introduced me to the freebies and that my feeble excuse for the whole thing, AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Many authors start out with M&B especially in the olden days. And I've had Michele Hauf on my bookshelf for a long time :D

Started

I have Magic Lost, Trouble Found on my TBR Mello. Glad you liked it.

She has #11 but she doesn't say when it's coming out or a title.

It was pretty good. Lots of action.

I checked Chloe's website and in her FAQ page she said, "There are thirteen (1-13) books under contract in the Chicagoland Vampires series. Right now, I anticipate number 13 will be the last book in the series." So, looks like there'll be a couple more - probably 2 in 2015, since she's been releasing 2 a year for the past couple.
I read

I checked Chloe's website and in her FAQ..."
I`ve just finished Biting Bad and will be starting Wild Things soon, not released yet over here in the UK, The release date here is the 8th of Feb and later this year I think in august, there is another one called Blood Games. Hope this helps

I checked Chloe's website and in her FAQ..."
Now I want to check that series out. Never heard of it before.

If you do get into this series you need to read them in order as its kind of an unfolding tale.I got the earlier ones from the library as I could not get hold of them so easily, mmn you`ll like Ethan , well doesn't everyone who reads this series ?

Her Vampire Husband - Michelle Hauf

carrying on reading
Stolen - Kelley Armstrong
----------------------------------
.

Ah, I didn't mean Chicagoland Vampires. I've actually read the first sixth of those. I'm frustrated with the series and haven't decided if I'm going to continue, yet.

I say that every time a book comes out. The first two were really good then the two after that were ok and the next one was good. It just goes up and down with that series. I do however love Ethan but even he is getting a little boring.

Stolen - Kelley Armstrong
could not get into it like the first book of this series, Stolen
---------------------------------------------
Switched to
Night World - L J Smith
All good so far

Trying to decide between audiobooks:

LOVED book 1 on audio. So I have book 2 on audio too"
Good to know. Thanks!

Trying to decide between audiobooks:

Wicked Cravings is delicious!

Ethan has started getting on my nerves.
I've gone and started

Been after this book for ages with no luck, but did manage to listen to an audio version, really good read or I should say listen.Definatly going to get the next book in this series.
Anyone else read it ? Because no one seems to have heard of it before, over here in the UK.

Let me know how it goes. I have it but won't get to it for a while :D

Lol, I had to try it and Sandra was right. On to

Let me know how it goes. I have it but won't get to it for a while :D"
I ended up switching to

The Vampire from Hell (parts 1 to 3) - Ally Thomas
---------------------------------------------
.

------------------------------------------------------------------
Got side tracked and I have read for the second time
Dark Lover - J R Ward
Lover Eternal - J R Ward
Both British editions of the books from our local library so was able to
understand a lot more this time round. Its only the earlier books that are
a bit confusing at times.I guess they slightly change things a little in
them these days to make it easier for overseas readers to follow, not being
in the know, on all the American dialogue you speak over there.
------------------------------------------------------------------
There was only one book in the BDB series I did not like it was Phury
& Cormia`s book, book six(only gave it one star). So I have decided to read it again
hopefully with fresh eyes.So at the moment I am currently reading
Lover Enshrined - J R Ward
-------------------------------------------------------------------
SO looking forward to The King, April release over here I am going to make myself stay away from the reviews & threads on here as you will all be reading it before us
-------------------------------------------------------------------

I enjoyed Archangel`s Legion, although my favourite of this series
was Archangel`s Blade.

Pathetically have several other books going at the same time, also reading

but it was too good to pass on as I have already read the first book in the series found this on line,
The Eternity Cure - Julie Kagawa
-------------------------------------------------------------

was Archangel`s Blade."
I enjoyed Archangel's Blade, but my favourite couple to read about are still Elena and Raphael.

How did you like [book:The Restorer|9722219]? It seems an interesting premise...is it UF or PNR?

Definitely UF. A really creepy atmosphere, ghosts are bad news and there's a serial killer.
