I am left to wonder if this is the book that we have waited for over a year to be published?

Peggy Was that it? We waited a year for that? I thought that she had originally stated that the book would be 300+ pages. The goodreads description states that it is 320 pages but the published book is a mere 176 pages. Plus, the reason for numerous delays in publishing that we where provided by the author was "editing" yet there where too many spelling and grammatical errors to count. The book also felt extremely rushed. We don't learn Lucas's "big secret", one that I was able to guess prior to even starting the book, until 86% then it was all rapidly downhill from there to a quick HEA ending. And that ending. Can you say predictable and often used cliché of an ending? I definitely am wondering if this is the book that she has been sitting on for over a year as I am not convinced, especially after reading it and with it's decreased length, that she didn't only finish writing it within the last couple of weeks or even days. I know that I can't be the only one thinking this.
I am hoping that Snow uses this as a lesson in the future when it comes to putting her books out there. This has been a hot mess.

Peggy - I totally agree with you!! As I was getting to the end I thought for sure, this can't be all...is she setting us up for Book 3? Way too rushed. Unsatisfying and disappointed. I think you're being generous giving it 3 stars.

Esther you're not the only one. I even saw a blurb for her next book and the first thing I thought was Tony Rawlings (Consequences.)
I really don't know the specifics as of why this book took so long, and I was so patient, just to get to the end of it and not only have guessed what the secret was from the beginning, for it to be resolved in a paragraph was so-anticlimactic at best. I was more intrigued with Cilla's and Sienna's encounters than anything else. You did a good job verbalizing how I felt.

Jeannie Zelos I was shocked at the length too - and GR still says 320 pages, not the 176 is actually is. Its disappeared from amazon too, though still available via the link on her blog for the epub version. The more i think about it the more i feel we just over expected due to all the wait and difficulities - well, i guess maybe i did anyway. Underwhelmed is how i felt. I enjoyed lucas and co again, but somehow nothing in the story felt as real and emotive as in the first book. and the ending...cheesy, done too many times now in other books.
