Hi, I'm looking for a bit of advice, I have decided finally it's time to get an ereader! I have no idea where to start! We have a Samsung tablet and an ipad in the house both if which I find difficult to read on for any length of time.
Ive been looking at the different ones online but figured it would be best to ask readers. So greatly seeking any advice!

Vixen (thesilentfox) | 4 comments Kindle is really good. I bought a Kindle Fire not long ago and I love it. Though I can still use the kindle app on my iPod Touch and even use it on my Galaxy. So just the app itself is amazing to have. if it's like a document you want to read you can send it to your kindle through the kindle email from your email. Of course all you'd need is an amazon account. Another app was called "File App" but since getting the kindle app, comparing it just isn't right. Kindle is definitely the way to go.

Marcus | 28 comments I usually read my ebook on my galaxy s4 phone, but my wife reads her on the galaxy tab 3 7.0. We had a nook, but neither of us really got into the nook.

I know the kindle paperwhite is really good, especially for reading at night. It doesn't hurt your eyes or anything. But if you live in the UK then you can actually download library ebooks on a kobo. The new kobo aura looks good if you want something like the kindle paperwhite and I have a kobo mini which is really portable. It'll fit in my coat pocket and even my smallest handbags. The small screen size doesn't bother me either. It really depends on what you want from it.

Yes I live in the UK. I've found a few comparison sites and the kindle paper White seems to come out on top. But the kobo ones aren't far behind it. I find the tablets screens hard to read for Long on so I've been looking at the new ones with the front light thing. I'm so not a tech person so thanks for the advice! I think I might have to go to the shop and have a look at them too.

Erin LM | 160 comments Since Kindle is of Amazon I think it'll be a better option since there are many of books that you may not find available with the kobo. Also if you want a kindle is better if it's not a kindle fire because they are more tablets than kindles and you can download any program/app of kindle, kobo or whatever you like for reading e-books.

Paulina (The Little Book Pixie) (victoriayork) I just got a Kindle Paperwhite and I love it.

Kelli (dolphinie13) | 24 comments It sounds like you've tentatively decided on a Kindle Paperwhite. If you're still looking for ideas, I would suggest the nook by Barnes & Noble. I have the older nook which is comparable to the nook simple touch. I love the e-ink display. It also lets me download or save books in all formats (pdf, word docs, ebooks, etc). I really like that it has an open format. I was a staunch pae turner until getting the nook as a gift. Now, I read more and always have 600+ books at my fingertips everywhere I go.

I've narrowed it to the nook glo? I think it's called and the kindle paper white. I'm going to the shop over the weekend to have a play! Thank you so much for all your advice. I will let you know which one I choose!

Lauren | 2 comments I used to have a kindle keyboard which I loved and it has free 3g and I now have a kindle fire HDX which I also love I've found that nook's books aren't as cheap as kindle but both e reader s are good

Yeah the nook ones don't seem as cheap or as many free ones from what I can see. But I shall go and look at both anyway while I'm there. Think I've decided on the paperwhite. Thanks for everyone's help though!
