The Secret River was a book that got me back to reading. Have read the trilogy but didn't find the others up to the first, although enjoyed them both. Loved her book which detailed her research for the ancestor that inspired The Sacred River.

Just finished Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut which was rubbish! Still V is done. Will add to my list later as I am in bed poorly and can't get downstairs to get my laptop. Only have my kindle.

Thanks Helen, still in bed so far but starting to feel a bit better. Have only been able to listen to audio books rather than read a book. Have managed to get the laptop upstairs though as needed it to play audio cd's.
