Matched
question
Continue?

Honestly at first I wasn't thrilled about Matched. I thought it was slow moving and not very interesting. I thought that to many things went unexplained and overall it confused me. But as the book progressed, I came to like the writing style a bit more and relate to characters and situations. I finished it today and really feel the need to immediately get Crossed (mostly because of some of the things I have heard about it) I wouldn't be thrilled abandoning this series right now, but I don't want to invest time in it if it isn't really worth the read or worth finishing. Anybody who has finished the series and would like to motivate me (WITHOUT SPOLING!!) I would love to hear what you have to say :)

yeh don't finish it, I read all three out of desperation. Crossed is boring and I honestly didn't care enough to follow the plot of reached. You could continue if you like the style, but I didn't. She writes too much poetry for me.
It's still kind of slow, but they're actually sort of taking action now instead of realizing there might be a rebellion, and some of the new characters are likable!
Hate the book and the series. Period. I couldn't even finish the first one because of boring it was.
*sigh*
I sometimes wonder how this series is even remotely popular.

I kinda liked Matched. Yes, it moved rather slowly, but overall, I liked the concept of it. I started reading Crossed about a year and a half ago and put it down for a good while and tried picking it back up only to put it back down (honestly, I'm not even halfway through it). Eventually, I am going to finish it and then read Reached. Just know that if you choose to continue reading the series, Crossed moves quite slowly from what I can tell.
I'm so sorry to say that this series is a lost cause!
I LOVED Matched...but Crossed was so boring. It took me about 6 weeks to read because I kept making excuses to NOT read it. lol
Literally, NOTHING happens!
As for Reached, It's much better than Crossed, but still not worth my time. I wish I never stmbled across this series.

I really liked Matched, but I really didn't like the second book, Crossed. I haven't been able to motivate myself to read Reached because I was so disappointed in Crossed.
I really enjoyed the Matched trilogy and i thought it reminded me a bit of the hunger games, a trilogy again that i loved. I was an interesting and long journey with Cassia and she had grow and learn in so many ways. I love how the poetry works its way into the story. At one point i felt like it was a massacre of characters like the hunt series but it all turned out great. The author did a did a great job of giving the characters there own voices. the series really picks up in the last book. And the second made me cry. You know it's a good book when the author can actually take you on those kind of emotional roller coasters.
I started it and didn't really get into it though sometime I might try it again.
Those books are litteraly AWSOME! I devoured each and every one of them! You should really continue because it is really good till the end( thats my point of vue)
Not a fan of the book series.. I feel like it was a complete waste of my time.
