Reading resolutions for 2014?

As for a reading resolution, I would love to be able to set some time out in the day to read perhaps in the morning or before bed. I don't tend to read as much when university life kicks in so reading regularly will be a bit of a challenge also! It might keep me on top of reading for my course as well, which is always a bonus. Also, I think reading several books or at least two will be a challenge.
Happy New Year everybody :)

I'd also like to see if I can beat my 2013 Year in Books total ;-)

I started reading them when only the first two books were out and kept up religiously until the prologue of book 9, at which point I lost interest. Anyway, now that the series is finished I want to reread the whole thing. Already finished The Eye of the World.

I've been using Goodreads' Reading Challenge widget thing as a challenge and a reminder to read more when I can, and every year I've upped my goal bit by bit. This year is 60 books, so fingers crossed on that! Something I've also wanted to do for a while is to choose books at random from my "To Read" shelf on here. There's probably a lot of stuff I've forgotten I've added, so it will be fun to see what comes up.

We're in 2014 already...hard to believe. Do you have any reading goals set for this year? Share them with us!
- Minimum number of books you want to read?
- New genre you want to explore?
- An author/series you've been meaning to try?
- A book you'd like to revist?
- New book formats (ebook, audio) to try?
I'd like to give Wheel of Time series another go. I tried getting into The Eye of the World this year but kind of backed out after about 50 pages. It seemed so daunting at the time.
I would love to re-read The Great Book of Amber, especially the second half of the series on Merlin.
I also want to read some novels in Japanese. It's always a bit a challenge, but a good learning process. I'll possibly start with Jenosaido (Genocide).
