Robin One of my favorites!

Carla Palmeiro (carlapalmeiro) Great. Read it!!! Good choice.

Terri Floccare Wonder is a book that should be read by all, young and old. It was a faculty summer read at my school this past summer.

Very sweet of you. And good review!

Sheila I just finished this and I'm so glad I did. I also never would have heard of the book if it wasn't for this group. I had read some reviews saying it was too sweet and too happy, but I was pleasantly surprised. Can't wait for the next read!

I though it was a charming book. Not perfect, but really well done. And I agree, it did leave me with a sense of wonder.

Ceylan (CeyGo) (ceylo) I never would have thought to read this book had it not been for this group, and I'm definitely glad that I read it. It was very sweet. I will definitely be recommending it to my friends with kids as a must read!

Donna Jo Atwood | 17 comments thank you for choosing this book!

Lynne (lynne_frappier) | 33 comments Great choice Catherine! I've been reading the comments above and agree. It's a sweet, wonderful read. I only wish that there had been a part that was told from Julian's perspective. Or perhaps all of Auggie's classmates? Otherwise, I really enjoyed this read. It put a smile on my face (and I have to admit that I cried at the end). Thanks!

Agreed!

Jamise (jamiseharper) 5 stars! A heart warming & inspiring read. The true essence of looking at the beauty inside a person and not what's on the outside. The best way to describe the overall theme that resonates throughout the book is perfectly stated in a quote in the final chapter - "Not just the nature of kindness, but the nature of one's kindness, the power of one's friendship, the test of one's character, & the strength of one's courage."

I loved the precepts in this book. Some of my favorites were:

When given the choice between being right or being kind, choose kind. - Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

Kind words do not cost much. Yet they accomplish much. - Blaise Pascal

Arlene Morrell | 103 comments This was a very inspiring read and I felt that the message for all of us is that one cannot judge books by their covers clearly Auggie was an amazing boy lesson learned. Good read.

Ilse-mari Stenzel | 6 comments Just finished Wonder. I loved it and I never would have read it if I didn't see it here :) I loved that you got to know Auggie's character and what he goes through, but especially loved the way you also saw the perspectives of the other people in his life. What a feel good book and so easy to read. Thank you!

alisonwonderland (Alison) | 65 comments In a world that needs more kindness, this is a must-read for everyone from 10 to 110!
