ok so this weekend i edited a short story for my creative writing class, made an abridged version of my three part mary magdalene story series for my creative writing class, wrote a 10 page term paper, read paradise lost, totally stumped on my reading response, and studied for my psych test tomorrow, um... and on tuesday turned in my brit lit paper, 4 page annalysis of a 21 line poem by john donne The Good-Morrow, seriously i wrote 4 pages about a 21 line poem, half a page about the signifigance of it being a 21 line poem, in three stanzas of seven lines... yeah insanity, and i wrote two reading responses for paradise lost, and a 2 page single proof essay, and read 200 ish pages of the big nowhere by james ellroy and had a test on it on friday, where i wrote a short essay... um... yeah i think that's it, oh and i read three short stories and took notes for critiques in my creative writing class for um.. today... ok bed.

So apparently i haven't posted in three weeks... that's special.

I took 3 english classes and abnormal psych this semester.

So for the end of the semester I wrote a 4 page movie review for psych, a portfolio for creative writing with a 3 page book review, my 22 page mary series, and 6 poems. A 4 page paper for Brit Lit and the piece de resistance, a 10 page term paper for English 1, with an additional extra credit essay on "The Big Nowhere", a final exam on the book, about 15 pages of writing in the room, in a blue book not that impressive, and a departmental final about American's addiction to happiness, about 10 pages in the room.

I have two more finals, Abnormal Psych, multiple choice test on Personality Disorders and Disorders of Childhood and Adolesence, and a Brit Lit final comparing two pieces of literature, but I have no idea what two pieces they will be on, so that's scary.

Yeah mon-sat of this week I taught 21 dance classes.

Oh and I've baked probably 80 dozen cupcakes since December 1st. I woke up at 730, to make more rum frosting for our red velvet cupcakes for concessions this afternoon.

I'm tired.

Wow, Lauren, how do you do it all? I imagine that you work quickly and focus well. The ability to focus is so important and our culture doesn't support it. Let us know what works you get to compare in your Brit lit final, okay? You're taking many of the same classes I took at uni. I found Abnormal Psych interesting and easy. The blue book essay tests in lit were sometimes challenging. It all depends on what the prof decides to ask.
When you finish the quarter, you can enjoy a well-deserved break.
