What are you reading in 2014?
I am currently reading
it is very intense and messed up and I really like it
Off the group topic, but I just finished a horror thriller, NOS4A2 (pronounced Nosferatu) by Stephen King's wonderfully talented son Joe Hill. If you like strong heroines who are gifted (or cursed?) with magical skills, you'll fall in love with the quirky, flawed heroine.

and it was fantastic. I want to reread all the Prakenskii brother books. Crazy in love with these guys, and I also really love the sisters in both series.

Katya, was intrigued by your review and went to smile.amazon.com to buy the book when it it said I already purchased the book back in June. Yay! Can't wait to read it. Will put it on my up next to read/backburner pile!

Just recently started the Black Dagger Brotherhood series and am definitely enjoying it. Not sure why I waited so long to start this series. I am now reading book 6 Lover Enshrined.

Another Vampire Brotherhood series....The Warriors...great story-lines, beefy warrior vamps, sassy strong heroines and great banter as well as romance in each book with a story that arcs over the entire series. I've read two already and moving into book #3.
The Theresa Gabelman books look good Katya. Now added to my TBR list :-) I love vampires and good storylines.

Well written story so far. Books I & II are one story, Book III is another couple. These are out of my comfort zone (sex club & prostitution) but I am surprized at how well structured the stories are and at how enjoyable the reads are.

(not sure what I think of it so far)....there is a high annoyance factor going on. He keeps calling her "LOVER" after every thing he says to her.

The order is Ivan, Dimitri, Yuri, Nikolai, Sergei and Kostya. I have read the first 4 and enjoyed them. Sexy, overprotective Russian alpha males with mysterious pasts that bond them like brothers.

Yes, it was mostly sex described...the having of it and the working up to it.
Yes, it only had 105 pages (I am notorious for hating short novels or novellas.)
Yes, it needed some development and maybe some background.
But....wow. I was shocked at how good this was...beneath everything was a great story...an emotional one.
This novel was so wrong and yet so right!
