CJ | 1497 comments "I guess..." River cut in, "You have something against guessing."

message 52: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments "I sure am," River replied, deciding to ignore her sarcasm, "Nice of you to notice."

message 53: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments "Ah. I always loved that insult, you know. It had the strange effect of making me want to laugh while feeling insulted."

message 54: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments Well, there was no way River was going to break the silence. Oh, no, that wasn't the way he rolled. He just looked at the two other people, watching.

message 55: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments Okay, so maybe he was going to break the silence. "So, what exactly do people call you?" he asked Bekah. He still hadn't gotten her name.

message 56: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments River nodded and carefully extended a hand for her to shake.

message 57: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments River grinned. Pretty soon she would probably notice the small message his stamp left on her palm: "You made the mistake of shaking hands with River Correston. Congrats!"

message 58: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments ((I don't really care. Some little winky face, or something. ;) ))

message 59: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments "Hmm..." River considered this question, "I'm not quite sure exactly what you meant by that. If you mean 'What have I done to deserve this?' then... I don't really know. I thought it was funny. If you meant 'What is the use of this weird stamp on my hand?' then it can... make you smile?"

message 60: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments ((Bye!))

message 61: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments "I neither destroyed nor defaced your hand," River pointed out, "I just gave it a nice little piece of artwork. And, really, it'll come off as soon as you wash your hand."

message 62: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments River just turned back to his computer.

message 63: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments ((Night!))

He glance back at her one more time before absorbing himself in what he was typing, which, incidentally was random stuff, seeing as his essay was complete.

message 64: by [deleted user] (new)

((When is the time going to be up?))

message 65: by Sab (new)

Sab (unluckyducky) | 295 comments Cleo had saved, and printed out her essay and now she was judging and organizing everybody in the room. River was probably her favourite, the joker while Trey was the more serious one. Leaf would be a funny trainer, whereas Fiona would be more... Strict.

"Your name?" Leaf asked the initiate stepping back from him.

((Strict? Really why do my trainer characters always come off as strict? Sure she was a stiff but she's Erudite now))

message 67: by Sab (new)

Sab (unluckyducky) | 295 comments ((( Haha, sorry. Idek she just seemed that way, she just reminds me of Jeanine, her behavior part not her evilness.

message 68: by Sab (new)

Sab (unluckyducky) | 295 comments ((( You )))

message 69: by Shav (new)

Shav (keelahlove) | 34 comments Xander hurries into the library to start his next essay.

message 70: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments River opened his file and printed out his essay so he could turn it in before time was called. You know, with about three seconds to spare.

message 71: by Shav (new)

Shav (keelahlove) | 34 comments Xander looks up at a girl near the printer and smiled up to her.

message 72: by Shav (new)

Shav (keelahlove) | 34 comments Xander walks up to the girl. "Hey, I'm Xander."

message 73: by Shav (new)

Shav (keelahlove) | 34 comments "Nice to meet you." Xander extends his hand to Bekah.

message 74: by Shav (new)

Shav (keelahlove) | 34 comments "I'm from abnegation, you?"

message 75: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments River turned around and looked at Bekah. He hadn't realized she had transferred from Dauntless, too... Come to think of it she did look a little familiar...

message 76: by Shav (new)

Shav (keelahlove) | 34 comments "that's a big step," Xander says.

message 77: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments "You just don't seem very Dauntless," River replied, thinking back, trying to see whether he had just missed all the clues.

message 78: by Shav (new)

Shav (keelahlove) | 34 comments Xander smiles up at her, "I think that's pretty cool though. That takes a lot of determination."

message 79: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments "Fair point, fair point," River gave in. He hadn't really considered any reasons for leaving a faction other than his own.

message 80: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments "I could have, yes," River steered around her question carefully. He couldn't anybody about his sister; that would only put her in even greater danger.

message 81: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments ((Kay!))

River didn't look away.

message 82: by Shav (new)

Shav (keelahlove) | 34 comments Xander moves over to a desk to start typing out his essay.

message 83: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments Now, he looked away.

message 84: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments Little did Bekah know that this was actually a bit of a touchy subject with River. "No," he said firmly, "You're hungry, not starving. People actually starve in some places." He didn't add that his sister might be, back in Dauntless.

message 85: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments "Thank you," he said quietly, patting his printed essay on a table so that the pages would be even with each other.

message 86: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments River began to walk to the door of the library, planning to hand in his essay.

message 87: by CJ (last edited Apr 04, 2014 04:09PM) (new)

CJ | 1497 comments Ah. Bekah was following him. He'd obviously made some sort of impression.

message 88: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments River veered left before reaching the door, walking over to a dictionary. He could use the definition of stalker when Bekah needed evidence.

message 89: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments ((Kay.))

River stared at the definition, go over it in his head. A person who pursues game, prey, or another person stealthily. He turned around to see that she was still there.

message 90: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments ((Gtg for a little while. Be back soon.))

message 91: by Shav (new)

Shav (keelahlove) | 34 comments Xander finished typing his essay and went to the printer to print it out.

message 92: by Shav (new)

Shav (keelahlove) | 34 comments Xander walks up to Bekah again, gathering his strength.
"hey, I heard you said you were hungry and I'm kinda starving too..."

message 93: by Shav (new)

Shav (keelahlove) | 34 comments Mackenzie wrote: "((trying this... does it work?))"

((yes))

message 94: by Shav (new)

Shav (keelahlove) | 34 comments "I'd love to!"

message 95: by CJ (last edited Apr 04, 2014 04:56PM) (new)

CJ | 1497 comments River rolled his eyes and slipped past the two, out the door. Honestly, could that guy be any more obvious?

Mae finished her essay, and scanned it carefully. She ran her work through multiple search engines, just to make sure she hadn't accidentally plagiarized anything. Shen then proofread it four times, just in case. She printed her twenty-three pages of carefully prepared text, and rose from her seat with a satisfied nod. She slid the papers carefully from the tray, and exited the library.

message 97: by Sab (new)

Sab (unluckyducky) | 295 comments Leaf stands back and glances at the time, "TIME'S UP" he calls out. "Get your essays in your hands, and be back in the initiation room with your tablets in the next 10 minutes" he adds before promptly walking out.

message 98: by Sab (new)

Sab (unluckyducky) | 295 comments Cleo got up and stretched after transferring her essay to her tablet, and printing it out. People were really picky about using trees now day and paper was barely used. She looked around, looking for someone specific.

message 99: by [deleted user] (new)

Luka quickly sent the text to his tablet and looked around. Most of the other intiates were hurriedly typing out last minute conclusions.

He noticed a girl looking around. She seemed to be finished, so for a second, he met her eyes.

message 100: by Sab (new)

Sab (unluckyducky) | 295 comments Cleo met somebody's eyes and smiled warmly at them. She wasn't usually like this, and she didn't know why so she glanced away quickly. He wasn't the guy she was look for.
